par Bill, il y a 8 ansWorks better than anything else I've found for Firefox, but not as well as the Google dictionary on Chrome.
Also I'm nervous that my AVG antivirus software periodically complains about it, implying that it's collecting data on me or some such. AVG is not very specific about why it keeps asking to delete it, but it makes me occasionally look for a replacement.

- Noté 5 sur 5par Titusraven, il y a un anvery nice. personally i think its better than "Dictionary Anywhere" as it can do pop up definitions too... but it doesnt suffer from the issue of not being able to define a word because the double-click selected the space after. also, if it cant find a definition, it leaves a "more" link to quickly bring up another tab to a dictionary site of your choice (i chose "Urban Dictionary")! just remember to go thru the options and pick your search engine...

- Noté 2 sur 5par Dexms4, il y a 3 ansRarely works for non-root word forms, and definitions are often pointless.

This thing cant find anything. I dont know what database it is using, but its missing basic words. Time to look for a new plugin.

- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 16664541 de Firefox, il y a 5 anscould be really good. I liked how simple it was, and the UI was clean when it displayed the definition.
however, probably more than half of the words that I actually need to search a definition for, don't show any results on this extension! the majority of the time I end up having to google it, which shows a definition fine. if there was just a wider range of words in this extension, it would be good. until then, I'm going to have to uninstall. - Noté 4 sur 5par BlueRome, il y a 5 ansThis would have been an easy 5-stars if we could only add a key to activate the search function. I mean, we all double-click stuff all the time, but how many times have you meant to check the definition of the text rather than just copy it or something?

- Noté 5 sur 5par Ari, il y a 6 ansAfter using this extension for more than a year I moved on from it cuz of how it looked in dark mode. But came back to it just after a month ( cuz this one hardly ever shows me "definition not found" ) and was really delighted to find the theming issue solved.

- Noté 5 sur 5par Rain, il y a 6 ansLets you select what dictionary source it polls, which means it also works through a VPN whose dictionary requests get blocked by google. Extra bonus points for light/dark theme choice!
