Grammarly: AI Writing and Grammar Checker App par Grammarly

par Ratteler, il y a 2 ansThe interface of this add on gets in the way more than it ever does any good.
Who on earth wants a little circle blocking the last letters of their search bar? This should ONLY be available threw the right click context menu like the way we have accessed additional features for decades.
Like a good special effect in a movies, you shouldn't know you even have an add on until you need it, and then it's access should be minimalist. Not an add to sell you coming to your web site.
Why would I EVER pay you if you are this annoying for free.
This app will only HELP you learn better English because it is SUCH a bad experience you will get better to avoid it.
Sadly... it still appears to be the best.
I perform an unnatural act for FOSS version. Or one that simply used google like enhanced spelling does on chrome.

- Noté 1 sur 5par EmilyC, il y a 2 joursI used to love Grammarly. I tend to type too fast for my brain to process sometimes and I miss common things often. It always helped me out so I didn't have to reread everything again. But in the last 6 months or so, it's fixes don't even make sense. It wants me to change a word here and there that doesn't even make sense. It gives me incorrect spellings and insists my spelling is wrong, when I know it's not. I wish it were as great as it used to be, but it's gone downhill and I'll have to find something new.

- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 19258022 de Firefox, il y a 2 moisIt is a useful tool, but not the best of its kind. Using it for years, but random bugs and issues are killing me. It is not about hoping to fix; those are part of Grammarly.
Also, it seriously struggles with Gmail, and god forbid to use it in Outlook. It does not show or underline irrelevant things that you must click somewhere else to open them. - Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 16912776 de Firefox, il y a 2 mois

- Noté 1 sur 5par Ian Fraser, il y a 2 moisGrammarly, is first and foremost, a misnomer. If you would genuinely like grammatical help while writing, the best thing you can do is adjust the setting in the built-in grammar checker in Docs or Word to be more strict. Grammerly is not going to make your grammar better, and stringent adherence to a constant assured and direct tone strips the human variance from writing.
Grammarly strips your voice away from you. This is especially a problem in an era of AI detectors, where the featureless grey mush that is created through Grammarly has no more of a soul than AI, leading to your paper being at risk of being flagged, and likely you having to, at the very least re-do your entire paper.
Truly, there is no rating too low for me to give Grammarly. If I could give 0 stars I would. If I could give -5 stars I would. - Noté 5 sur 5par Pottie, il y a 3 mois
- Noté 2 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18097105 de Firefox, il y a 3 moisThe base Grammarly features used to be absolutely great. And for simple corrections, it still is helpful. However, it is absolutely intrusive with all the other AI recommendations that you can only view with a subscription. You get absolutely numb to all the squiggly lines it places under your writing. Unfortunately, it has been surpassed by better add-ons for these jobs.

..what a huge breach of privacy, it's like holding a carrot in front of a horse to make it move forward, it's manipulative, and just a lie. - Noté 1 sur 5par dp, il y a 5 moiscollects website data by modifing the body secton on EVERY website (inspect): data-new-gr-c-s-check-loaded="8.934.0" data-gr-ext-installed="" data-gr-ext-disabled="forever" , and sometimes gives commas in the middle of words.
