1. Definitely give a description (currently none given) with pix

2. For the permissions thing, currently nothing is shown to the user. Extensions always do a pop-up asking the user if they want to give permission when it installs..it happens right on screen. Currently yours does not do that, which explains why it didnt work for me...when you told me to go to Manage and enable permissions...then it worked. So yea that definitely should change because 99% of the time users will not be aware to do that since extensions don't do what you currently require.

I am really sorry for this. The reason of useless may be you need give the addon permissions to instagram manually. You can see the example here(https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/22173084/241606818-f6988f38-46fc-4c9c-a37e-35a25e71dbe4.png).
Besides,the code is completely open source and the source code was uploaded here(https://github.com/TheKonka/instagram-download-browser-extension). And I promise there are no malicious code.
It is my falut for less description and guidance. I will try fix this.Thanks you for your advice!

I can only dl reels Max at 720p, idk about images. Making it at MAX resolution will be great!

Ok, you fixed some of the bugs on this so i upgraded my rating from 3 to 4 stars.

Upgraded review:

There are great things about this addon a really annoying bug about this addon.

>Great: video control bar that allows you to to go back the a point in the video you wanted easily. Of course the function of downloading pictures and videos, and also the option to open the picture and video in a new tab outside the main instagram page. in case you want that.

>Annoying: it sometimes insists in saving the pics as .webp and when it does that, the picture you just saved opens up on the browser in a new tab for whatever reason. After one or two pics that becomes really annoying.
That does tend to go away after a refreshing of the page or opening the post itself in new tab tho.

It's an almost perfect addon so.. if you fix that little bug i'll gladly give you 5 stars.

The Zip button covers the button used to save images on Instagram. That's incredibly stupid, so I had to uninstall the add-on because I don't want to have to disable it every time I want to save an image. I have no idea what this Zip button is even for. Who needs it?

Lately, there's been a problem when visiting posts with multiple images directly from the search; the image number doesn't increase when moving to the second image.

Sorry, I just found that the 2.4.6 update (literally now) which supposed to fix media player control not showing, seems to do the opposite to me. I don't have the problem before, but now on the post/reel, the control now disappears - no problem with the stories though. I'm on Firefox 151.0.

Did this extension used to have a take a snaphot or something that let me take a picture from a video on IG story? Like the story was a video but I wanted to save it as a picture instead of saving the video.

Have been using this great tool for a long time. Worked great until v2.4.4. It has a memory leak which makes it grow to +4GB in memory. For rolling back to 2.4.2; I uninstalled then reinstalled. Thanks for developing this tool.Hope to see the new version.
