Decided I needed to get a password manager. Read the reviews and choose LastPass (free) for a starter experience. Started to install it, and then this pop-up screen came up from Firefox:

Exchange messages with programs other than Firefox
Display notifications to you
Read and modify privacy settings
Access browser tabs
Access browser activity during Navigation

I can't live that and I don't know why anyone would want to. No thanks, LastPass.
