par Sea, il y a 19 joursGreat product. But, there REALLY needs to be like a warning on some of these names that they sound very young. Very jarring. was not appreciated. not what im looking for.

- Noté 1 sur 5par tj, il y a 3 moisits good but limit to characters is so low you can't use it for much.

- Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 19710402 de Firefox, il y a 7 moisProbably one of the most modern and useful TTS extensions on Firefox. I love Edge's advanced speech services baked in, but I refuse to use it as my browser. This is a great compromise. I'm not sure how this was done, but it's miles ahead of how LSD Software fetches Google voices in their Read Aloud extension.

- Noté 1 sur 5par honza1616, il y a 8 moisThere is no option in the context menu to select text on the page and read directly

Most natural sounding, free TTS engine on Firefox I've used. Simple UI, dev listens to feedback, great extension overall.
Most recent version (1.4.0) fixes most prior complaints; audio no longer quits when you click off the extension, able to open in a new tab, can run in the background. No janky workarounds anymore: 5 stars.

For Norwegian the only alternativ - Noté 2 sur 5par CollectionMaster, il y a 10 moisWhen using, you must stay in the TTS window or the audio will stop playing. Not great for those trying to multitask

A Text to Speech Voice Reader.
- Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14250674 de Firefox, il y a un anUpdate: For those who complain the audio stops when changing tabs or minimizing browser, one workaround is to download the TTS audio by right mouse click on the extension's built-in player at the bottom after audio is generated.
Finally Microsoft's natural Azure TTS voices can be implemented on Firefox without opening up Edge Browser. Using context menu (right button on mouse) immediately imports text into extension menu screen for generating audio automatically. Thank you for this brilliant extension Yacine Benslimane! - Noté 4 sur 5par Raygen, il y a un anThe extension with the best natural voices I've found so far.
Only con: You need to copy paste the text into the extension. It does not read the text directly from the page, highlighting the words that it's reading; which is an essential feature of the MS Edge experience - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18979426 de Firefox, il y a un an

- Noté 4 sur 5par Jeremy, il y a 2 ansSo far I like this text to speech better than some of the others except for one thing. Once you get everything going and you can listen to it, everything that you are reading is still highlighted on the screen and I would like if I could click on this screen again to unhighlight it however when I do that it stops reading to me. I tried this a few times and realized that you are not able to remove what is highlighted. It would be a nice option if we could click somewhere to remove the highlighted part because it's hard to follow along with the highlighted part and I understand that there is a box that is in the top right corner with the text to speech and that is fine but my screen is an ultra wide Monitor and it is pretty far off to the side. This makes it difficult to see. Looking forward to seeing if this ever gets fixed but I will continue to use this one because it's better than all the others and has good quality voices which are easy to understand and don't sound like a robot.
- Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18339686 de Firefox, il y a 2 ansPartnered with Mellowtel which I consider Malware. It's an extremely sketchy, possibly illegal, business that wants to "Use your spare bandwidth" Which is worryingly vague.

mis en ligne : il y a 2 ansThank you for sharing your thoughts. I understand your concerns, and I want to reassure you about the privacy and transparency of Mellowtel.
Mellowtel is a privacy-driven, open-source platform that helps developers maintain and improve their services by allowing users to optionally share a small portion of unused internet bandwidth. It is fully disclosed in the installation process, and this feature is opt-in, meaning users must explicitly choose to participate if they wish to support the developer and they can always opt-out or adjust their settings at any time. Importantly, Mellowtel ensures that users remain anonymous, and no personal data is shared.
I understand that the concept of bandwidth sharing can raise questions, and I encourage you to review Mellowtel’s open-source code for complete transparency.
