par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18538818 de Firefox, il y a un anIt worked for about 10 mins (with google.com as new page) and then is stopped, leaving me back in the FF default home page. Maybe they'll fix it, idk.
Edit: Didn't change anything on the system. I fiddled with it for quite some time after. Also asked ChatGPT, ruled out AdBlockers, still could not work it out. Sorry but this shouldn't take more then a few minutes to set up. May FF is blocking it in some way.

To be clear: There were very good reasons for this decision at the time, and it was definitely in the users' best interest, even if not every user understood the reason behind it. - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14009125 de Firefox, il y a 17 joursit doesn't seem like you can sync custom urls, that would be nice.

I deliberately decided against syncing because I'm not convinced that the majority of users who use Sync want to use the same page for new tabs on all their devices. - Noté 1 sur 5par Max, il y a un moisAt first it was a really good add-on for firefox based browsers. If you watch youtube regularly while this extension is enabled, I found that youtube takes for ever to load or not load at all. Once disabled I was able to load and watch youtube much smoother like normal. I have also noticed some other glitches on other sites with it enabled. I've had tabs crashing at times when I richt-click the mouse then tab crash or just gone leaving one open for me.
New Update after response from developer: Everthing I have said makes perfect sense. I have removed your extension and now magically Youtube is working perfectly fine. Some of the other glitches that I have had is also gone. YouTube was the big one for me.Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a un moisThis makes neither sense nor can I confirm the YouTube issue. There is no relation at all between having this extension enabled and using YouTube. Also „some other glitches on other sites" makes no sense at all because this extension doesn't execute any code on websites. So it's just not possible. I also don't believe you the "crashing" part as the extension just uses WebExtension APIs and if it were true, a lot of extension would cause crashes. Another fact: There are more than 60,000 active users of the extension and there is not a single report for any of these issues. - Noté 5 sur 5par botti56, il y a un moisTop Add-on.
Alas it doesn't work with Beta 153.0.b13 anymore. No matter what is selected in 'Option' or URL it only displays a blank page when I open a new tab. - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13667925 de Firefox, il y a 2 mois

It's described in the add-on's description, as all requested permissions:
"The permission to access the browser history is needed to prevent spammy "moz-extension://" entries in your browsing history every time you open a new tab. There is no way to prevent this without this permission." - Noté 5 sur 5par mozjurmo, il y a 3 mois

- Noté 4 sur 5par tippex.95, il y a 4 moisVery good extention, but to b 5 stars, it should have a specific feature for custom URL new pages: the ability to clear the URL bar when the page is loaded and the focus is on the bar, so one could just CTRL+T and start typing to search.
Now you've the focus on the URL bar, but there is the text of the custom URL too, so if you're in a rush, you could search for "[your search]+[custom URL]" on the search engine.Réponse du développeur

For obvious security reasons, this is not possible for Firefox extensions. - Noté 5 sur 5par jc00qe, il y a 5 mois
- Noté 5 sur 5par Virtual Valtyr, il y a 5 moisFor some reason Firefox no longer lets use specific the new tab url besides blank or Mozilla's tab page, even changing the new tab url string in about:config doesn't work. I tried a couple other extensions and those didn't work. This is the only one I've found that does. So great job Soren!

Hello, i have a suggestion
Some users like me press ctrl+T and fastly type the site/search that we want to enter in the new tab (sometimes we just want a new tab to search something, not always the defined new tab one).
Since i started to use the extension i had to adapt myself to press "ctrl+t" - "ctrl+a" and then type what i want to search. (so the search do not go like www.site.comSEARCH
Would be good if in the menu options had a check-box to press F6 or CTRL+L after ctrl+t and then backspace automatically.
For this situation i'm using a AutoHotKey script that does this everytime i press ctrl+t in a browser. But if the program had it pre configured would be good.

I am not sure if that is possible but I will investigate. - Noté 5 sur 5par Jonas, il y a 10 moisGreat extension. Does exactly what it is supposed to do without loads of unnecessary settings. I hope mozilla fixes the "select url"-issue.
