In general I like Nord's products and I do use NordPass on other devices but I have to say that they really dropped the ball on this extension and their customer support.

I wrote them to inquire if it would be possible to add biometrics for Firefox. There is currently no support and I consider this a security hazard. They replied there is support and to look well in the settings. After 11 emails where I send them data, screenshots etc....they finally say 'We are sorry but there is currently no support for biometrics in Firefox'. This is a joke.

Use other password management tools, NordPass has no intention of making this one reliable or grow.

EDIT AFTER DEVELOPER RESPONSE (SEE BELOW):

If as they say, bio-metrics in Firefox is treated as a security hazard, this should have been the first response I get from their team. Opposed to no response after 11 emails and finally a relevant and informed response on a Firefox review months later.

Hello, I am Dominik and I am responsible for product at NordPass. Situation is exactly opposite, because for now availability of biometrics on Firefox on MacOS is treated as security hazard. That's why we don't support Firefox MacOS with our authenticator (two-factor codes) in the browser extension. We do support though Firefox on Windows, as well as other browsers like Chrome and sister chromium-based browsers.

We don't know yet when we're going to unlock biometrics on Firefox MacOS back, but probably not sooner than in 2025. Let me know if that answers your concerns.

    I really do like the extension but it lacks the option to restrict it from loading on specific websites, this would help when nordpass causes conflict issues with another extension as disabling autofill and autosave in extension settings does not prevent this.

    Just signed up for NordPass (my first password manager) and I have to say this extension is making things super easy. I can't compare it to others but fwiw it works as intended and does make my life easy.

    !MEMORY CONSUMPTION ALERT!
    I had a memory consumption issue in firefox. This extension is the problem. It causes a tab that naturally uses 70mbs memory to use 200mbs when this extension is enabled.

    Im sure this extension may have a memory leak as well. If you are perplexed as to why your firefox is using so much memory, it has to do with this extension.

    After using other password managers I switched to Nordpas. Great app, easy to use. Far less conflicts than other app's I've used.
