After the update, you can login as many times as you want, you get stuck in a loop, cant select a server, we cannot use this. To Developer responder, please stop telling people to reinstall and delete cookies/cache and go on a 'try to fix it' crusade across their perfectly working computers, you need to work this code related bug out and stop sending people on wild goose-chases. This is a broken add-on and after we have all tried everything we can on our end, YOU need to step up after taking our money and take responsibility with at minimum an apology that thousands of users right now are unable to use your service after paying for it.

The finger is being pointed at YOU now, stop deflecting people with text-book excuses, and fix it. This fault is on YOUR end. YOU need to contact whoever has developed this addon and get them to work out the flaw.

You want to keep earning our money? GET TO WORK. The one star ratings are pouring in as you continue to avoid this issue, and you will no doubt start hemorrhaging customers.

If you want to earn our trust back before it's too late, now is the time for you to wake up!
Contacting support teams, re-installing Windows, clearing cache, fresh reinstalls etc etc, you are wasting our time, our systems are flawless, your Addon broke two weeks ago and the reports are piling in on your desk, do not ignore them.

Start taking these reviews seriously and knock off the "Its your fault, now jump through some hoops" responses. Taking on the noble quest of getting in touch with the lead coder to go on a fixing journey is not our job or responsibility, we have busy lives to run and bills to pay, YOU need to inform your superiors, YOU need to take responsibility, YOU need to fix this. Have i used enough 'You' 's ?

INFORM YOUR SUPERIOR. 2 weeks of total breakdown is not acceptable for a service that claims:
Uptime: NordVPN offers a 99.9 % uptime guarantee.
You have broken your garauntee. Yes your servers are probably "up", but anybody using this add-on has not been able to connect to them for 2 weeks.

Edit: The response below seems to imply you didnt bother to read this complaint. Well i cant be bothered to use your service any further, you have lost this customer. Fix your addon, and stop wasting our time blaming the customer.

    New permissions verbatim: "The developer says this extension collects: personally identifying information, financial and payment information." Wtf. I don't care if that's different wording of existing permissions, I don't want you to have those permissions, NordVPN.

    If you look at the Proton VPN extension it only requires permissions for Access your data for account.proton.me and account.protonvpn.com. Whereas for Nord it's required to access all website data, not optional. If Nord needs to access data for account information, they should restrict it to Nord domain(s), rather than leaving it open for this extension to be able to read all website data. That seems like an implementation improvement they can make, rather than excuses.

    Hello! Thanks for noticing. A few days back Firefox update changed how permissions are displayed, but we haven't introduced any new data collection. The broad language refers to existing info like your subscription ID and currency. We remain dedicated to privacy and only use the data necessary to keep things working for you. -L.L.

    Don't panic, this is a Firefox policy change, not a NordVPN data grab.

    NordVPN hasn't introduced any new telemetry, tracking, or background data harvesting. They simply pushed an update to comply with Firefox's new rules. Because this is a premium, account-based service, it naturally handles:

    Authentication: Your Nord Account login/email.

    Financial Info: Checking your active subscription status so the extension actually works.

    Location: Finding the closest, fastest VPN servers to route your traffic.

    Chill. It's exactly the same Nord VPN service we've been getting all along.

    What the heck is that 🤨 ? Private data harvesting... for a privacy related product.

    One could start think about if our data is actually private when using Nord products.

    If this won't be reverted no way I'm gonna prolong subscription.

    I'd like to see explanation then why it was collected up until now, just simply policy was not requiring to explicitly be stated up until now.
    Can this really, really cannot be avoided?

    Hello! To be clear, no new data collection was introduced with yesterday's update. Firefox is now showing broader descriptions for existing data like subscription IDs and payment info. Firefox recently updated their consent categories for data the extension already used, such as payment status and subscription type. While the new wording sounds broad, our policy hasn't changed - we only collect the minimum data required to maintain your service. -L.L.

    While a VPN advertises that you won’t be tracked online, now the VPN itself tracks your financial, payment, and personally identifying info. Brilliant scheme.

    The latest update sneakily forces privacy data harvesting, including financial information, forms, and payment data. This is ridiculous and should be banned.

    RE: Stop making this sound harmless. Firefox is clearly asking me to approve new required data collection before the extension can update. I cannot reject these permissions separately, so in practice I either accept the added privacy risk or I cannot install the update.

    The warning explicitly mentions personally identifying information, financial and payment information, authentication information, and location. That is not just normal technical wording. If no new data collection was introduced, then explain exactly why Firefox now requires this new consent and why users are being forced to approve it. At the moment it looks like a serious privacy downgrade, and I am not comfortable accepting it.
