par cicada, il y a 8 ansI don't understand what this extension does.
After enabled it, shows that now i'm browsing from United States but my external IP was the
same as before i install/enable the extension.
So, what's the point of using it?
Also, because i clean the cookies, every time i click its button, it automatically opens its home
page for log in. This is very irritating. It should have an internal functionality for log in which
also should be compatible with Saved Logins manager of Firefox.
In private browsing mode also, it does not work at all. Even after logged in in its home page,
it remains disabled, opening again and again its home page every time i click the button..
[Updated]
This time i test it in clean profiles of firefox 55.0.3 and 62.0, both 64-bit and default settings.
The first time i click the button after installation, it opens its home page in a new tab (expected).
In here, i create a new account, verify the email address and log in. After that, when i click the
button, its pop-up remains open and i can enable it (the button becomes bright) and if i want, i
can also select a country (expected).
However, my external ip remains the same, as before installation/activation of the extension.
I check it by going here: https://bearsmyip.com/ and here: https://iplookup.flagfox.net/.
I tried to change several times the country, disable/reanable the extension but nothing was
changed.
Now, as of private windows, i can confirm again that it does not work at all. The first time i click
the button it opens its home page in a new tab where i log in. After that, every time i click the
button it does the same thing, bringing me again in its home page, where i am already logged in.

1. TunnelBear does require a cookie to be used on the device in order to recall login status/information. If you clear your cookies, you will be required to sign back in to the application. We are aware of concerns surrounding this, but there are no immediate plans to change this implementation at this time. This is intended behaviour for the app currently.
2. The other two issues definitely don't sound right at all. The extension should be working with private browsing mode, and it definitely should not be displaying your personal/original IP, you should only see the TunnelBear IP address while connected. Note however, the extension only affects the browser it is installed on, not all applications on the device. If you are seeing the IP in another browser/app, then that would be expected.
In any case, for those problems, please contact support at https://help.tunnelbear.com/hc/en-us so that our support bears can try to solve those issues for you! We'll be happy to help troubleshoot there :)

I'm using it on firefox and the extension seems to have less features than the chrome extension like connect to faster server etc. I'm also using it on my iphone it works fine. Chrome extension icon is not updated after tunnelbear connects . Its a very cool vpn but i would be happy if they ever made a Linux client. (make it cool with map etc)

The marketing bear is pretty charming, coming from a McAfee company. - Noté 2 sur 5par Zazie, il y a 7 mois
- Noté 5 sur 5par Vormix_Sv, il y a 8 moisЛучший ВПН, который я знаю. Есть и на телефонах и на ПК (как отдельная прога). Больше всего мне нравится политика этого ВПН для жителей Беларуси (и может быть ещё каких-то стран): В месяц дают 10Гб бесплатно, что очень много

- Noté 1 sur 5par Rich, il y a 9 moisSo nice to move split bear into premium. Hardly used any bandwidth as I only needed vpn for a couple of apps. Now I use up the bandwidth within a day on sites/apps I didn't need protected. Uninstall time I guess. Bummer as you always gave good fast service.
- Noté 1 sur 5par pedram, il y a 9 moisIt only opened and connected the first time; after that, no matter what I did, it wouldn't open, and it was the same on other devices
- Noté 5 sur 5par Gurov, il y a 10 moisVery nice of TunnelBear to give 100GBs of free VPN data. VPN's also really fast
