Causes memory leak on Firefox; it filled up my 16gb ram within a minute or two, the only way to fix it was to restart my computer.

Please try to reinstall AVD add-on and Native Application and reset the data at the menu Settings - Reset, using WIPE OUT AND RESET button.
This will delete any data in the extension storage, and reload the extension.
