don't work

Useless after v57. I went directly from v56 to v59 (current version) and now every time I try to use this add-on, it asks me install ANOTHER add-on for it to work. Looking for other add-ons.

The Mac version is dreadful, unreliable and slow. Nothing like its predecessor. It let's Mozilla down very badly.

Je n'arrive pas à installer vidéo downloadhelper et j'ai installé Firebox !

Update 2026: For some annoying reason it's now saving screenshots of videos into the firefox default download directory instead of the download location chosen for the addon, why? I've been through all settings and there is no way to turn off these random screenshots.

non è per niente facile capire come funziona

Sauf que DownloadHelper ne fonctionne pas toujours.

I hate this tool with fake downloading and pay needs.

This is a commercial product! Converting costs real money, and the product does not recognize the 4K formats in spite of a lot of settings. Just compare with Flash Video Downloader and see what they find on YouTube videos, but the worst thing is scrounge the money. Install an additional file with codec and converter, because you will not download anything. After you install it, you will find out that you will download in an interesting format you will pay! Super! I lost only time, because stupid Mozilla can not distinguish paid offers!

Funktioniert nicht. Downloads brechen ab.

Downloadhelper 7.2.2 und Firefox 59.0.2 (64 bits)
Firefoxdownloader funktioniert fehlerfrei.

This is the most ridiculously confusing add on I have ever encountered with Firefox. If there is a way to set it up to work is is NOT apparent!

Been using for years but stopped at 6.3. It automatically updated to 7.3 and I hate it. It needs a companion app and I can't figure out how to get it to ask any more where to download. It alos times out and can't down load as many things as the past. Wiped it off my PC and went back to 6.3. DO not use 7.3.

Constantly writes "This operation requires an external application to be completed." and displays on the download Companion App.
The video itself can not be downloaded.

El tiempo de descarga es muy extenso, encima te encontras con la sorpresa que tus videos tienen un codigo QR para abonar por sus servicios. Gracias pero nunca mas lo vuelvo a instalar
