Mixed results with this one. Always converts thru a lengthy process, sometimes resulting files are not complete. Customizable options are good to have, but lack quality settings.

All in all I do have to say this works for what I wanted it for.

That being said, it has some deficiencies. For instance, it likes to frequently extend the downloads approximately 30% longer than what it should be thus wasting space. The extra time being the entire video playing again at extreme speeds. You have to either retry downloading it and hope for the best, or bring it into a video editer to cut out this extraneous portion. This has been a known issue for some time now with no resolution.

It also seems to have issues when playing back the downloaded videos. There is a prominent stutter in the video, that I can live with, but isn't present in the original videos. Nor is it present in any video I have downloaded or received by any other means.

The last issue I've got with this dowloader, as well as most others of this type I've tried, is the fact that it doesn't pull the subtitles with the video. According to the maker on the forums, it's not possible to download them with the video as its not present in the network data with the video. This is incorrect. I have been manually downloading and saving them from the Dev Tools built into the browser.

The response and actions of this app are slow, tedious, and unsatisfying. It rarely works properly.

Ik ben blij met jouw Add-ons, maar het is toch niet helemaal wat ik zoek. Er kan nog heel veel aan verbeterd worden. De video's worden zeker prima gedownload, daar niet van. Het is weliswaar "gratis" en zonder vervelende reclame van derde partijen. Dit laatste vind ik ook heel goed. Maar het feit dat het gratis is en zonder reclame, is niet voldoende om het programma niet beter te maken, wat zelfs een goede reden zou zijn om er wèl wat voor te betalen. Ik ben geen ontwikkelaar, maar volgens mij kan het niet zó moeilijk zijn om enkele of meerdere verbeteringen aan te brengen. Bij voorbeeld: mij van te voren laten bepalen in welke map ik een video wil opslaan. Ook duidelijk en praktisch uitleggen wat zijn de gebruikte afkortingen van de verschillende streaming zoals "ÄDP" e.a.: wat doen ze? en hoe kan ik die veranderen? ik merk geen verschil. Ook de video formaten Mp4, WEBM, MKV en andere worden automatisch gekozen ... waarom? Ik heb ook gezocht naar informatie en tutorials, maar ik word er niet wijzer van, zodat ik al doende heb geleerd slechts hoe een video kan downloaden maar kan geen enkele andere functie gebruiken
Na veel downloads werd uiteindelijk gevraagd om de Add-on te betalen of een donatie te doen. Dat heb ik niet gedaan en dus worden nu de video's voorzien van een QR-code in de linkse boven hoek, dat vind ik jammer, ik zou overigens wel wat willen betalen/doneren als de genoemde (en andere) tekortkomingen opgeheven zullen worden, kortom als het een volwaardig/veelzijdig/duidelijk programma zou wotden. Maar nu is dat zeker (nog) niet!
Ik hoop dus dat verbeterd zal worden.

easy to use, but the QR code is of such a ridiculous size that the produced files are worthless unless you buy the license. Better to use a program that downloads individual portions and then manually use FFMPEG to assemble the pieces manually.
