This is exactly what I was looking for.
It works perfectly, right out of the box.

    Not working with Hotstar.

    Doesn't work with 32:9 monitors. The image gets stretched by a ton.

    It disables Picture-in-Picture, so I have to disable the add-on by default, and then enable it if I want to watch something in fullscreen. If it was compatible with PiP it would be perfect

    Really nice! The only thing i'm missing is an on/off toggle to quickly enable or disable it.

    edit; my bad! already built-in and the add-on options have a 'enabled by default' list of sites which can be tailored to your liking, absolute winner!

    Edit 2: It seems the extension has changed since, it now crops video to fit to your aspect ratio and completely fill your screen; which possibly cuts out valuable information. It used to just cut off black borders and retain all video. Would be nice if this was still an option

    (And the extension icon should be between the address bar and the main menu icon on the top right by default, maybe in the overflow menu right next to the main menu. If it is missing, right clock somewhere in that area, choose "customize" and add the icon. Clicking the icon will then toggle the extension for the current tab!)
