Absolutely perfect. I recommend pinning this to the toolbar- the button is very easy to use.

And if you want to watch live content, you don't have to interact with this extension and undo your preferences. You can just adjust the live speed in the video player and this extension wont constantly try to override it. And when you go back to a normal video the adjusted speeds are already set.

I have put many miles on this extension. It's such a little thing, but it solves a very specific problem and this one was well made. It's strait to the point.

Is it possible to detect if a video is a music video and setting the speed to 1x ? In real life I consume content and the large chunk are music too...

With this extension, you never have to manually change the playback speed of YouTube videos. It does it automatically when the video starts.
I wish a 1.75 setting was added.

there is already a "payback speed" option in the settings of a youtube video. and it has all the SAME options as well.

It is an excellent add-on that works, the only problem is that you should add an exception at https://music.youtube.com since it also speeds it up.
