This is the best lyric extension for youtube. The only issue with this extension is that it needs the band name and song name in the title to find the lyrics correctly. The music that youtube adds will have the name of the song in the video title with the artist as the account name (or artist - topic). This extension will search for the title but will typically display lyrics of a different song with the title. I hope the creator gets to remedy this.

Used to use Robz lyrics addon but that one has stopped working a long time ago and has been abandoned. Tried a few others but none worked.

This one has been working perfectly and the source code looks pretty good and clean.

First app I found to work. Basic, but even on non-english content it's worked so far! obviously it can only pull data from artists it can FIND lyrics to, but every video with enough plays to have a comma in the view count has been flawless, thanks!!!!

20% of the time it's very nice, accurate. and convenient.....the other 80% of the time IT'S AN INACCURATE UNCONTROLLABLE MESS. 9/10 songs when i type the name of the song of will pull up lyrics not only for the wrong song but for a song which doesn't even at all contains the same name. sometimes i'll try to get icp lyrics and get lyrics for snoop dog or lyrics for ac dc but get ones for slipknot. not only that but there aren't even options to actually get different results or get it to re-search it and trying to spell it differently or rearrange the words or letters has no effect at all. terrible, basically useless. use google instead.

Great when it worked. Unfortunately it has VANISHED from my screen and I've been unable to get it to display again. Uninstalling and reinstalling did nothing and I can't find any controls to adjust. Good idea, lousy execution.

UPDATE: Thanks for the information. I had actually discovered the new positioning after my review, but now, since the upgrade, the search function just isn't working. The song title never shows up in the entry field automatically and manually entering the title results in nothing but a spinning wheel that never completes.

Hoping you get this fixed and working again. It's a great idea and very convenient.

Best one! Looks great, absolutely perfect & works on playlists. Also finds every single song lyrics, it's awesome, please keep it up. :)
