Just like other users, I thought of suggesting an easier way to disable, however, that would make it so easy for the lazy user that it's simply not worth it.

Although many people said it removed many features when using Google Search Engine due to switching the mode, there's not much to do to stop the server from operating and saving resources. Not only that but I personally didn't notice such a difference.

However, I am quite disappointed with the fact it could also offer an option to block the most known AI domains from appearing when searching, such as Deepseek, ChatGPT, Gemini.. or perhaps even block those!

To not fall on this, I use Block Site and Blacklist, but I imagine this extension could have a built-in feature with a list of AI websites.

9/10, does what it promises but could be more customizable and remove domains known for AI features an option.

I'd suggest an easier way to disable this extension when someone actually wants AI, but it would only disturb the purpose of this extension, because it makes it harder for the lazy user to disable it (I say for myself):
Configs > Extensions > Disable "DisableAI"
All that path gives you time to remember: "Why did I installed this extension on the first place?"

well, it does exactly what it says. disables ai, in a way that doesn't even let it send a request
problemo is, you can't easily disable the extension without doin' it in firefox itself, and the reason why you'd want to do that is to simply get back to the 'all' tab on google. which shows things like the calculator or the stopwatch or games or whatever else is embedded into it. web tab has none of that, which fer me is a bit annoying, since i do actually need that. ofcourse you can just go to a website, but it's easier fer me to have it on google. anyways, it works, but sometimes i need it off y'know?

I love using this extension, because ai not even real, it's just made up thing by developers, and actually not option to use ai overview because is a scam, thankfully someone will get this review of mine

Just adds &udm=14 to the url. A custom filter on ublock origin does the work better.

I have manually set my go-to sites to not use AI by default, but I like knowing that this extension is catching things in the background.
I have noticed that it doesn't disable YouTube's completely pointless AI summaries from its descriptions, so that would be an appreciated update!

Best anti-A.I. plugin; does the same as many userscripts for multiple sites in, instead, one.

I find it absurd how ecosia's mission is planting trees to save the earth, but they have AI assisted search baked in aswel as a chatbot button that covers up the search catagories. Im still trying to figure out how to disable that button, but otherwise you're doing gods work.

I'd rather do the thinking, and thus, the conclusion reaching, for myself. I don't want a billionaire's propaganda bot telling me what's what, and I wish they weren't telling others..

Beyond that, AI greatly impacts the health of our collective home, and not in a good way. Every little bit helps, and this app provides a tool to do so, it's great, and it does what it says.

Plus, it works on Android!
