It was so low because the voice sound was coming through my Mac Mini M4 built in speakers and I was about 15 feet distant. There is no apparent means of choosing where the sound output goes.

I can't believe that this thing still doesn't have proper voice fetching implementation after all these years.

Also I don't like that it automatically sets your setting to allow this developer access to ALL your data unless you change it but even then it piggies back off of google.translate. Also doesn't even read my full text book page just the title and then the page number. I don't like the reading in the extra window either. Idk why its a recommended extension.

So, it basically reports your browsing to Google...that makes it intentionally spyware in my book. FF's own builtin "Read Aloud" will have to suffice atm.

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Marty, 8 moannen lynThe update from June 30, 2025, did not fix the error either. Whenever I want to listen to something on the Internet, the error message “Not allowed error” always appears. I use the Google Translate German voice. Now, I'm fed up. I'm definitely going to uninstall this extension now.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch jay, 9 moannen lynterrible, it mispronounces words, skips entire sentences and even make weird or inappropriate sounds halfway through reading. if 0 stars was an option, i'd choose it.
