troch Firefox-brûker 10206391, 5 jierren lynVery handy & translates not only whole web pages but also just the parts of the page that are in a foreign language (ex: a foreign language comment in a string of English comments).
Just two things I don't care for and, though seemingly small, are annoying enough for me to disable it for now.
1) It may seem obvious to others, but I find the toolbar button's 'options' when clicked to begin translating confusing. I just want to click the button, approve of what options it's showing me, and click 'Translate Now', or some such button.
Instead, I'm like: "....now what? No actual button to click".
2) When highlighting a word or sentence in any web page (to copy / cut, etcetera) the little blue "G" translate popup button hovers over the highlighted word. This is annoying for two reasons:
a) It gets in the way of reading what's directly behind it (I know---it's small, but this seems a constant irritant). I *already* have the button in the address / tool bar to click if I want to engage this extension.
b) That little blue "G" button DOESN'T GO AWAY after the highlighted word / sentence is long 'un-highlighted'. You have to click a couple of times elsewhere in the web page to make it finally disappear.

- Wurdearring: 3 fan 5troch migoo, 5 dagen lynI can't seem to find an option to automatically translate highlighted texts. I need to click on the icon first before that translation box popups which is a bit time consuming.

4 dagen lyn pleatstIn the extension settings, there is a tab called "Hotkeys." There, you'll find an option to translate selected text by pressing "Ctrl" twice. That might save you some time. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Paolo, 5 dagen lyn
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 20164641, 5 dagen lynOne of the best addons for browser ever, it can translate any page to any language without breaking functionality.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch İlker, 6 dagen lynI really like the extension and it works great, but there is a major missing option in the settings. When I select text on a website with my mouse, I don't want the extension's logo to appear on my screen. There should be an option in the settings to hide this logo.
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Operational Solutions Advisory, 8 dagen lynTWP - Translate Web Pages is an essential extension for communicating across global clients and managing international technical documentation seamlessly in real time.
Having instant translation capabilities helps our teams coordinate operations across different business units:
• Technical hardware and dispatch updates at Billings Locksmith Services (https:billingslocksmithservices.com)
• Commercial site waste clearing logistics at Asheville NC Dumpster Rental (https:ashevillencdumpsterrental.com)
• International account compliance documentation at Elite Reinstatement Pros (https:elitereinstatementpros.com)
A must-have extension for any business operating across multi-lingual platforms and global client networks. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch bobalazs, 9 dagen lyn

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch 18skeltor, 16 dagen lynAs far as I can tell, you can't see what language it is that you're translating. That's a make-or-break feature for translating apps for me.
I looked through the settings and couldn't see an option for this. If I missed it, let me know and I'll change my rating to 5 stars! - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch WRS13, 19 dagen lynIt would be great if the Android version were updated too; in the old version, only Google works. I don't want to take a risk with those suspicious copies of this extension.

- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch phma, ien moanne lynI use the non-automatic page translation tool — That's to say if I need to translate a web page, I click [mylanguage] in the TWP toolbar button and the page is translated.
Is there a way to reset the page translation when the URL changes?
Example: To read an article on example.com, I click to translate the page. Then, after reading, I navigate to a different page (still on example.com), and the new page is automatically translated. I’d like the new page not to be automatically translated — I want it to reset in its original language.
I know this is a non-standard request, but would it be possible to have this choice via a checkbox in the settings?

Thanks for the reply!
I already had that option set to “No.”
I just tried again and realized I had misunderstood the "issue".
Actually, the site doesn't revert to its original language when I use the Back button (when I go back one page). I guess that's normal.
In the end, I have to refresh the page after using the Back button. That works for me.
Thanks for the quick reply!

Edit August 28:
Hello, I'm back with some additional information regarding my first question.
I was finally able to reproduce the problem:
On YouTube, I'm reading the comments (translated into French) under a video.
Then, I return to the YouTube homepage by clicking on the YouTube logo in the upper-left corner of the page.
When returned to the homepage, the translation is still active.
"Automatically translate when clicking on a link that takes you to the same domain as the current site" is disabled.
Thank you if reading this.Antwurd ûntwikkeler
ien moanne lyn pleatstWhat you're asking for is the extension's default behavior. Depending on how the site is built, the behavior may be different.
Check if the option "Automatically translate when clicking on a link that takes you to the same domain as the current site" is disabled. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Virtpunk, ien moanne lynYes, it stopped working for me too. I completely forgot that I changed the translation service to Bing a long time ago. Now I changed it to Google, and it is the only one that works. And Yandex and Bing both do not work. If possible, please fix it.

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch CorgiButt, ien moanne lynNo longer working. I hope the dev fixes it because this is the best translate tool out there. Will change my rating if they do.
Every other translation extension opens new tabs or popups, this just directly translates onto the page, no need for refresh or anything.Antwurd ûntwikkeler
ien moanne lyn pleatstTry restarting your browser. Which translation service are you using? - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 13140755, ien moanne lynIt no longer works since the last Firefox update (153.0.4).
I have tested all the translation tools available (Bing, Google, Yandex).
My preferred translation tool is Google.
Translating selected text works. Translating the entire page does not work.
The tool’s window says ‘Page translated into German’, but the page is not translated.Antwurd ûntwikkeler
