This change took power on November 3rd. However, the last time I updated the extension was on 14th of November (you can see it by clicking RMB on the extension, then 'manage extension'), which proves their reason is made up.Antwurd ûntwikkeler
8 dagen lyn pleatstAs per the Mozilla article, developers had until the first half of 2026 to adhere to the changes. You can also view the exact changes we took for yourself: https://github.com/SevenTV/Extension/pull/1189/changes. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Stephen, 9 dagen lyn

9 dagen lyn pleatstThe "browsingActivity" permissions is exclusively used to transmit your user presence, so that your cosmetics show up in chat. This has always been the case, but the consent screen is part of a newer Firefox initiative: https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2025/10/23/data-collection-consent-changes-for-new-firefox-extensions/ - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Erick4401, 10 dagen lynWhat is the reason for the change in the new collection of data? With how the internet is today I chose to disable the extension instead, if it's a final change I won't be using the extension anymore

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Vandy, 2 moannen lynStill after the newest update there is a bug where when scrolling up in Twitch chat and click the new messages, the video player messes up. When you scroll up the stream shrinks ever so slightly and when you click the button to see new messages it goes back to normal. If you watch the bottom right of any stream you'll see what I am talking about

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Zoiyya, 2 moannen lynSadly every streamer uses a lot of 7tv emotes. Problem is: 7TV always has extremely long loading times for emotes in my area and most of the time emotes don't load AT ALL or instantly un-load again after closing the window!
7TV is extremely frustrating to use and it only gets worse every week!
ONLY 7tv has this problem! All other emote extensions work and load emotes without any problems! - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 18914119, 6 moannen lynEmotes always fail to load, autocomplete never works, no emote modifiers. FFZ > BTTV > 7TV
