My hero works fine whit 2k streams UwU

fantastic extension, though an lil buggy:
-- every now and again the extension tabs will temporarily freeze, then unfreeze, which shows the lil blue dots on the tab icons for something new being there, despite nothing new being there.
-- the raid destination preview video provided by ffz shows as an blank white box where the video preview would be.
-- it struggles to retrieve the titles and categories of some past streams.
-- the speaker icon on the extension tab will sometimes vanish, or not show up to begin with when audio is playing.
-- every now and again an few of the background extension tabs will error out when trying to connect to chat.
-- when streams end it'll get stuck bufferring for an few seconds.
-- every now and again this error appears, ( Error: Assertion failed

-- seems to eventually potentially cause error #2000 to get stuck happening, both with the streams not working in the extension player, nor on the base twitch site, though it's an easy enough fix, just need to delete the browsing data specific to both twitch.tv and the twitch cdn, though make sure you backup your settings for bttv / ffz / etc beforehand in file form, as you might need to reapply them, and that'll be done an whole lot faster via just importing the settings backup files.
-- after multiple extension tabs had been running for awhile, an issue appeared where the extension tabs were causing an bizzarely high amount of network strain, which would not vanish even after having closed and reopened them all, to the point firefox thought i'd lost internet connection, after switching all tabs over to the main version of the extension *the not modified one* the network strain issue vanished, despite the same tabs with the same streams being active, hopefully this odd network strain issue is fixable with something as simple as comparing the code to the original and seeing what has broken.

other than those few bugs, it works well, although i do wish it'd get an branch to function on google chrome, as one of the recent updates, gutted the manifest v2 legacy support from the browser entirely, which included making the ( alternate player for twitch.tv ) extension unusable.

A very nice update to Alternative Player; and not just an update, but an improvement in pretty much every way.

Location restricted 1440p streams with 1080p video quality limit after ad break doesn't revert back to 1080p, but stays mostly on 480p or other random lower quality options. (manually selecting quality or refreshing browser fixes it until next ad break)

Streams with 1080p as default highest quality works perfectly fine and reverts back to 1080p after ad break.

Overall this is a lighter, snappier and streamlined QoL Twitch player with build in "adblocker", highly recommended if you are a hardcore twitch viewer.

Would it be possible to not have the player switch to high resolution when ads come on, I use audio mode to save bandwidth

high quality fork of the original plugin that works more consistently and adds great qol features. bless you for your efforts and thank you!
