Hi, I can only repeat that this is a workaround as the webextensions api doesn’t support the direct manipulation of favicons. That’s why extension like FavIcon Reloader don’t work in 57+. For single folders “Open all in tabs” is the official recommendation for reloading favicons. My extensions just automates this for all folders - which can be a lot. I could write a custom script without the api that only fetches favicons but this could easily mess up things in future firefox releases and would be time-consuming to maintain.
