It successfully gets rid of that disgusting pitch black they forced on us, but not the rounded tabs. Randomly forcing UI changes on your users without a way to revert it is straight up an accessibility issue for many autistic people and others unable to cope with change (including me), and still unpleasant for just about everyone else. Man, I wish I had Reddit or something so I could complain somewhere where someone'd actually see it....

Thanks to this theme I can keep Nova on as well.
I'm a fan of the redesign, just not the weird gradient on the top...

tab outlines are very blurry

This theme saved me from having to disable Nova. The Proton colours make the Nova design alright looking (which the Nova colours do not).

Mostly fixes the problem of getting rid of gradients, but why are there still teal highlights??

This fixed the colors in my custom CSS style for Firefox. If I wanted my browser to look childish and unprofessional, I would have bought an Apple device. I'm on Windows, though, and I want my applications to look professional.

This shouldn't even be necessary. Nova looks like dogshit.

And for anyone wondering: you can turn off the rounded tabs by going to about:config and turning browser.nova.enabled to FALSE.

Sat down to get to work - complete shock came over me when i saw that Firefox's appearance had been completely slaughtered in a single automatic update.

Proton saves the day.

I highly recommend this theme to everyone.
Brings back a sense of normalcy instead of color-vomit and forced gradient in every single new default Firefox theme.

Better than the new default theme

It's not perfect (it doesn't seem to remove the everything-is-a-circle buttons and tabs) but it is an essential theme for Firefox 157 and later so that you don't have to put up with all of the wrong moves that Mozilla made with the Nova theme.

I hope the design team keep an eye on how many users install these theme. It should be included by default rather than being an add-on.

Nie podoba mi się ten fiolet i mocne zaokrąglenia po najnowszej aktualizacji. Dobrze, że można powrócić tak prosto do klasycznego nie narzucającego się motywu.
A nie czekaj, lepiej w about:config ustawić browser.nova.enabled=false.

the new nova theme sucks hard. i fucking hate the round tabs. this doesn't help at all.
at least it brings back the good colours.

I don't like the curves. To get back the square tabs disable nova in about:config.
