It won't open anymore. I don't know what google wants

The text input box continually stops working to send messages.

This extension used to work well for me on another system. Perhaps it because I am using Google Container, but it won't even open for more than 5 seconds now.

The fact that it is always on top of the main browser window makes it useless on a single screen machine, such as a laptop.

As far as I can tell this isnt officialy from Google, meaning that your'e handing over your account details to a third party.

This extension simply provides a small browser window for accessing the hangouts site. While not really useful, I suppose it works. HOWEVER, the reason I'm giving this 1 star is that it has insane permissions to track all your browsing and data across Firefox. If you install this, you are giving the author permission to "read the content of any web page you visit as well as data you enter into those web pages, such as usernames and passwords." If this is a legitimate add-on, the author really needs to change these permissions.

My contacts were visible but strip that I write on isn't available to me so you see I can't carry a message conversation since I have no where to write. I like the green format because it is very compact and make my photos, Greeting cards, Smileys more readily available for use. Can you provide the green in place of the blue? Does not load when selected. Works on another computer but unable to install on a second computer.

Not very comfortable to use. It always opens a window which stays in the foreground and you're not able to change the window's width.

Why would a Hangouts extension need to access my data for ALL websites? Fix your permissions!

can't call any phone number

Can't press enter to send message. Can't send message at all! I had a message typed and am looking all over for the Send button but it's nowhere to be found. Tried looking in settings and it won't open. What a waste of a download. Uninstalling promptly.

Doesn't allow you to make phone calls. I'm testing the text messaging, but it doesn't look good so far. Wish the OP would update it or let someone else take it over so they can make it work correctly. Currently, it is useless for any functions other than logging into your google account.

100% bullshit, can't call a phone without chrome

Does not work, error message that hangouts does not work with this version of Firefox. I have the latest version 53 for 64 bit
