    To make this a useful feedback you should add links to the pages that you actually tried. Then we would know if these where even using the HLS protocol.

    Taugt leider überhaupt nichts. Videodateien fangen an zu laden und sind nach ein paar Sekunden fertig und somit fehlerhaft. Ich habe es auf mehreren Webseiten getestet.

    Es wäre nützlich zu wissen auf welchen Seiten hier genau getestet wurde. Handelte es sich überhaupt um HLS Steams oder waren es ganz andere Formate? Oder ist das wieder eine "mimimi die Dateien sind alle nur 20MB gross" Reklamation von jemandem der sich nicht die Mühe gamacht hat die Doku zu lesen?

    Unable to incorporate any sound into the video. Video very choppy and small regardless of choice. Even when video detection is on it doesn't always find the video, however I found this to be true as well with other video apps as well.

    If you provide a link to the site that you are trying to use the plugin on, I'll have a closer look at what is going on.. The site might use some HLS feature that the plugin doesn't support yet or it might not be using HLS at all. Streamed videos are not all the same and different tools my be needed to deal with different protocols. But that's exactly the point of the free trial version - to let you test if it works on the specific site that you are interested in. Good luck finding a tool that is tailored to whatever that site is using.

    obviously files without data cannot be played by VLC. it would be interesting to know your test case in order to investigate what exactly is going on here.

    I just did a quick test with one of the movies on that page. The respective movie supposedly was available from 3 different servers (see "VidSrc"), i.e. "PRO", "Fenbed" and "Mixdrop". From what I observerved, "PRO" did not play at all (nor download with my plugin) but both "Fenbed" and "Mixdrop" did play and could be downloaded just fine.
    I find it sad when people downvote the plugin based on false claims.

    Unfortunately couldn't detect anything on the website I tried.

    The site in question was www.macprovideo.com

    HLS Video Download could not detect any streams even when playing the videos to the end. HLS Downloader could detect the streams and download the video, but there was no audio.

    Thank you for the your constructive feedback. Support for separate "#EXT-X-MEDIA:TYPE=AUDIO" streams was indeed missing in older plugin versions. I fixed this flaw and starting from version 1.0.8 the plugin should be able to also download these streams. You might want to retry with the new plugin version (check the release notes to see how a combined audio/video file can be created).

    thank you for your feedback. looking at the trivial UI I would like to understand where exactly you perceived it to be "very complicated". also it would be interesting to know what site you tried to use it on, i.e. on what site has it been "not working" (or do plugins that must be payed for not work for you as a matter of principle)?
