This was a wonderful little tool for years, it is neither unique enough, nor useful enough to me to pay for this now that they want to blame AI for the change to paid premium service for spelling and grammar. y'all lost your damned minds over AI and got greedy

Went premium, not useful enough, nor unique enough to pay for, especially when all it actually does is save you typing it into chat GPT with the prompt "refine this:" followed by your text.

Was never that good to begin with, not sure why i even kept it around this long, the suggestions were almost always worse than what I've already came up with.

It's spyware. Even if you pay for that, which I regret doing.

Interesting nuance is that I believe couple of years ago it was not like this. Since US company (probably private equity) bought this, it turned into spyware.

They made the service paid only.

This worked great for me for many years. Unfortunately, now the basic function of spelling and grammar fixes are locked behind the premium service, so it's basically useless outside of the in-browser editor for me. How sad that they've done this.

Les fonctionnalités de base de l'extension ne sont plus disponibles gratuitement, je peux comprendre. Mais, il n'y a pas de formule "basique" à coût réduit, on nous impose la version premium qu'on ait ou non besoin des fonctionnalités supplémentaires. 50€ par an pour des fonctionnalité qui ne m'intéresse pas, c'est sans moi.

You have to pay an abo to use the app, not just some features, the description and info of this extension are misleading

I don't mind paid extensions but it's the fact that this basic functionality has been available for free and now you're forced to pay to use it.

They want you to pay to use this. It was free for many years. Must have sold to private equity.

Was free, now it's not. Suddenly ran out of premium which I never signed up for. Now it doesn't work. No point in having this now.
