This extension does exactly what you need it to do, so why the 1* review? AI and data mining, that's why.

I installed this because Firefox's own spell checker kept failing. Upon installation it requires you to accept their "very broad" scope for monitoring (ie: data mining) as in it monitors every single page you visit (irrespective of whether the extension is used on that page), meanwhile it offers up AI solutions to every situation.

All round an average product totally hampered by extremely poor data mining and AI support. Absolutely no trust should be extended to this extension or the company responsible.

Nothing here is "illegal" but it is "dodgy". Install at your own risk.

no longer a free app and therefore no longer installed on my browser. there are subscriptions for literally everything we use these days Im certainly not adding this one to the list of ones Im paying for. frankly if i wanted to spend money there are better alternatives.

That became an ai slop and we need to pay for it ??! uninstalled!

I have to do a lot of reports via web page for client installations and having a spell and grammar check option that catches style suggestions, such as em dash usage, makes life very easy. Great extension!!

Paywalled since it became AI-encumbered. The whole extension is now completely useless.

Turns into a paywall addon

Mozilla should do the same as steam, showing « all reviews » but also « recent ones », because that addon recently lost all its charm.

Paywalled now; I don't know if it used AI before, but if they didn't use AI when it was free, then shame on you devs for adding AI on something that worked just great, just so you could make this previously amazing free extension into some paid subscription stuff.

I'm not one of those dogmatic people who irraitionally hates on everything AI for no reason, but in this case this extension was amazing back then when it (possibly) didn't use AI, until you decided to fix something free that wasn't broken and left us with something broken no one asked for, only to make this paid?

I understand you need money, but instead of DELETING features that worked well on the free plan; you could've just ADDED value instead and make that paid only instead of taking down the whole extension.

I'm deleting this extension as soon as I am able to do it and not going back. Look elsewhere for an alternative, people. And as for AI, if i wanted AI translators, we already have Firefox's own website translation service for free and local; why pay for what we already have on our browsers for free?
