- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch fran, 6 dagen lynThis project is both highly effective and beautiful! Thank you for offering a tool that checks every box: free, form, and function!
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch UnwittyDork, 6 dagen lynLanguageTools told me that their browser extension is now for premium members only. After reading that news, LT was removed. The search for a replacement lead me to Harper. After trying Harper for 5 minutes, it was obvious that Harper is the perfect LT replacement. Thank you Elijah!
- Wurdearring: 2 fan 5troch CAMPI6277, 9 dagen lynBasically a good idea, both for privacy and responsiveness.
However it works generally really bad. Doesn't make difference between British and American English, it often flags correct words or makes wrong suggestions, sometimes doesn't even works and it gets stuck at half of the words.
Unfortunately, it needs a lot of work to be a useful alternative to all other high-priced grammar checkers. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch RafVne2, 18 dagen lynSo far so good. Love it, but I was testing it just for an hour, so I'll edit my review if anything pops up.
- Wurdearring: 3 fan 5troch Kat, ien moanne lynIt's not bad, it's just really buggy and unresponsive. I hope this gets fixed

- Wurdearring: 2 fan 5troch DreadBalaur, 2 moannen lynIt constantly flags common people names and degrees even with all the filters turned on. Just a pain to use for correspondence.
- Wurdearring: 3 fan 5troch ezran, 2 moannen lynBig fan of this extension conceptually, but I've found that it just… doesn't work sometimes? :( I have a problem where the Harper editor box will appear within the text box, so I both can't see what I'm typing and can't see the recommended edits. It also struggles with allowing me to accept suggestions sometimes. There have been a few times where I've clicked on a suggestion and it doesn't change anything so I have to manually edit it. I already love the lack of AI being forced onto me as well as the privacy aspect, though. If these issues could be resolved, this extension would be even more fantastic!

- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 17462030, 2 moannen lynhi! i love this extension, but i noticed there's a minor issue with it, if it could be fixed sometime. word mix-ups. i'll show you what i mean
"If you want to continue live, scram!"
"If you want to continue living, scram!"
also
"The figure not held the head of the Baron."
"The figure now held the head of the Baron."
i love this extension since it's anti ai + ykyk, but i also would appreciate LOTS if these mix-ups could potentionally be addressed sometime? i understand if it might be too hard to code, but yeah.
EDIT: i also have found a potential bug. this is my example sentence.
With their combined skills, they snuck on a plane.
the autocorrect suggested i change snuck to sneaked, okay. i do that. THEN the autocorrect tells me to change sneaked to snuck? mannn....i can never win... - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Çınar, 3 moannen lyn
- Wurdearring: 2 fan 5troch Ed, 3 moannen lynI really wanted to like it, but code starting with "harper-render-box" is being inserted directly into the text field in a forum I visit regularly. Even when I disable Harper on that particular site, a shorter string of code is still inserted. I have to edit the post to delete it. I do not know WHY it happens, only that it also seem to affect my installation of Darkreader, since some of its injected code is revealed as well. Only uninstalling the addon completely cleared the issue.
I posted the issue on GotHub as clearly as I could: githubDOTcom/Automattic/harper/issues/2913. I will try it again after several months have passed, to see if the issue is gone. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch TrellyTB, 4 moannen lynI recently started using Harper in my browsers, but also in Visual Studio Code. It works very well, and I like the focus on privacy. Thanks Elijah!
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Kasander, 5 moannen lynOne of THE MOST awesome and useful add-ons ever.
Fast, reliable and private!

- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch divyansh, 7 moannen lynSimply excellent! So much faster and better than garbage AI slop grammarly
- Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Gerry, 7 moannen lynReally incredible work. It finds corrections super fast and I'm surprised at how lite the extension seems.
The only issues I've had are that on some sites after selecting corrections I can no longer type in the textbox. Additionally the text corrections occasionally hover outside of the textarea.
But if these two get fixed it will be an easy 5/5.Antwurd ûntwikkeler
