It uses its own historical and extrapolated data, which is not noted unless you read the FAQ. While the extrapolated functionality may be useful to some and technically sound, such a misleading extension description should not be "Recommended" by Mozilla. I am quite disappointed.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch strider, ien moanne lynStopped working a few weeks ago. Tried removing and installing again, still nothing.

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch GoldenDove1122, 2 moannen lynLiterally blocks playback on videos when enabled, telling you that you have to subscribe to a patron for "premium" features, otherwise you have to disable it.
I did one better: I'd straight up just removed this waste of storage space of an extension and am now giving it a 1-star review, zero stars if I could. Yes, I'm aware that extensions like this cost money to run and maintain, but putting up a "free" extension only to block it behind a paywall only drives people away towards competitors. Unbelievable.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 5905964, 2 moannen lynDoes not fetch actual data from YouTube, just makes a guess. Less than worthless.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 18750367, 3 moannen lynSeems like they're adding bot dislikes in the results now.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Lucy Mills, 3 moannen lynannoying - it opens a popup after installation without the user clicking on anything and without the user requesting to view any page.

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 18900251, 5 moannen lynThe Dev tried to push a little e-beg window into his app which caused a lot of negative reviews. The Dev lost their mind and started replying and arguing with EVERYONE in the comments who was upset with the change and left a comment about his extension.
The Dev messed up big time in how he implemented this ad and how he is responding to the negative feedback. I removed the extension because the Dev appears to be really unstable and not untrustworthy. He even responded to this comment below blaming everyone else but himself. If he has this much of an ego I would be afraid of what he might do and don't want him to have access to anything on my machine.Antwurd ûntwikkeler
5 moannen lyn pleatstI was arguing with people who can't read - like geniuses who decided that the extension is paid now. (i.e. missed the point that all the features that existed before - are still free, and only the new, advanced features are paid, and used to cover the cost of running a free service for 20 million users. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Sensei De Elite, 5 moannen lyn

5 moannen lyn pleatstGoing to be less obnoxious on Firefox, thanks to chrome for beta testing. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch kuroten, 5 moannen lyn
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Nicky McCurdy, 5 moannen lynThis extension is trying to monetize showing one bit of useful information on the page with intrusive ads and a premium tier.

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch qawas, 5 moannen lynStay away. Tries to scam you with a $5 / month premium subscription. Greedy.

5 moannen lyn pleatstMonetization is needed, among other things, to pay for operating the extension.
Only advanced new features are paid - what you had for free is still free, and will always be free
All other extensions\apps with dislikes are using my API - with the api dying due to lack of funds - all other apps will die as well.
Unfortunately the extension requires quite a large database (~15TB) serivng 20 million unique daily users (chrome is not the only platform) - and it costs money.
The idea behind paid features was also to cover the costs (since donations became smaller than the hosting costs). Without bothering free users too much. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Chantelle, 5 moannen lynThe iffy "Premium" ad this has on the Chrome version is incredibly off-putting. If that's the direction this add-on goes in aka locking key features behind a paywall - I'll remove this. I do get that an add-on like this can be pricey to maintain but this could have been handled better imo.

- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 17670395, 5 moannen lynI no longer trust the developer after an intrusive advertisement was added. I am going to find another way to view dislikes or none at all.

5 moannen lyn pleatstYeah, sorry about that. The changelog tab was supposed to be shown on browser restart - i.e be much less intrusive. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Simon, 5 moannen lynDodgy shenanigans are going on with this extension for Chrome, with pop under adverts for some "premium" scam. Lost all trust in it and the developer, so removing from all browsers on all devices.

5 moannen lyn pleatstChrome users just beta tested it for Firefox. Hopefully will go smoother here.
