I've tried changing settings but still can't find the cause.

So, I may use shortcuts instead temporary.

If I signed out my google account, the zoom menu will pop out.

I have several google accounts.

When I sign in the specific account, menu is not appearing, but shortcuts work.

Other accounts can work normally with menu.

"Zoom" is not working since few days ago, and the "rotate" still works.

I clicked the "zoom" button and the control panel is not appearing.

I install "Rotate Youtube Video" only, no other addons.

The Firefox is newest version 110.0.1 (64bit).

Ok, how is that account different from the others? I tried switching my google account but it didn't have a problem. Try changing the language or changing the theme, no problem.
I don't know what the cause is, I can't fix it. If you know the cause then please reply me.

I've checked both Windows and Mac in the latest version (v110.0.1), but it doesn't have a problem when pressing the zoom button and the menu doesn't pop up.

Please remove this add-on and install it in the latest version (Upload Today v5.4.7)
*** Not update. Remove it > Close Firefox > Reopen Firefox and install the add-on ***

I don't know what caused it. But I reworked the code sequence of the zoom function. Hope it solves your problem. If the menu still doesn't pop up Try using shortcuts instead.

HI. i have checked. It still works normally.

Can you try disabling all addons to just this one? If it works, it means some of your addons are in conflict with this one.

If it works then please reply me. I want to know which addon it is so I can check and fix it.

If not, what version of firefox are you using?
Previously, there were people who had problems with this zoom function as well because they were using Firefox Nightly, some versions that had problems.

    It is possible to make it centered. But it won't be automatic. Some people don't want it centered after zooming or moving. I think it might be possible to add a button or shortcut to do this. I'm busy right now, might add it in next month's update.

    Really helpful with many portrait videos these days rotated wrong in Youtube.

    Auto rotate works well and I was surprised to notice some skeleton recognition lines when it's detecting rotation. That's kinda cool. Does it use some kind of AI recognition?

    Yes, it is AI-Based Recognition. I use a pose-related model and estimate the pose from the frame. Once I know what the pose is, I rotate the video.

    I use this extension everyday. It just does the job. Would like to support the developer if possible.
    Just wonder if the zoom level can be set with a default value? I would like to zoom out at 0,85 for all video so that subtitle is not display in video.

    I can set the default when entering the watch page/fullscreen and zoom in/out according to the desired value. But I think that's what you really want. To make the subtitles appear, try using my extension called "Youtube Subtitle Position" first. It can move the subtitle position and has an option to remember that value. If it really doesn't work, send request via "issue/suggest" button on the options page and attach a link to the screenshot of the missing subtitle. I think it's strange that the subtitles are missing.

    It is overall a good extension, even though it had a recent issue with zoom in/out, which was fixed relatively quickly.
    I like that we can select custom keyboard shortcuts, especially when some default ones haven't worked.

    Hi. Which shortcuts don't work? Is it move left, right with the keyboard? I just noticed that I didn't fix the skip 5 sec issue, I'll fix it later.

    Thank you for returning the best YouTube zoom feature for Firefox, it is very much appreciated. I'm sure any new ideas/features you come up with to include in this extension, a certain percentage of people would happily support you via the subscription. :)
