"ctrl+d" -> "Do Nothing (Disable browser shortcut)" -> Scroll right to view the save button -> Save -> Restart Firefox
Probably prevent some 1 star reviews. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 13873326, 7 jierren lyn
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Heat_X, 7 jierren lynIt's a shame there are so many low ratings from people that couldn't figure out how to use it. It works exactly as described, and does it perfectly. I used to use vimperator but now that quantum has killed it this is the next best thing.
Also the description says that it cannot override default firefox shortcuts, but it is kind of misleading, it totally can most of the time - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14540761, 7 jierren lyn
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14558431, 7 jierren lynNone of the hotkeys I try to remap save, despite clicking the Add button. I often use my ctrl button, and WASD. Ctrl+w closes my tab, and I don't want it to. This addon didn't help that in any way.

Read the description: "shortkeys cannot override Firefox default shortcuts such as: ctrl+j, alt+d and
others using the "Do nothing" action *outside of the webpage* e.g. the default firefox chortcut will still work in the url bar/ search bar"
It's only for adding additional shortkeys, not for changing the default one, as it doesn't seem possible with a web-extension yet. - Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14448194, 7 jierren lynSimply does not work for default shortcuts. I want to disable ctrl+w for a webpage that has a terminal emulator, and ctrl+w is one of the shortcuts I need to enter. I try to disable it through the extension, and it does not work even after restarting the whole browser. Does not do what is described.
- Wurdearring: 1 fan 5troch Windthin, 7 jierren lynThis did not work at all. I got it in the hopes of nullifying the annoying F12/F11 keys, and it did not function at all.

- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch darkconsole, 8 jierren lynthe ability to run custom javascript within the page on a hotkey was a damn godsend, since all the bookmark toolbar plugins that used to let you do alt+whatever apparently can no longer execute bookmarklets that start with the javascript: prefix. a blessing in disguise because now i don't have to write these obtuse as hell double encoded javascript bookmarklets to do things like ninja videos out of their players - now i can do it with properly formatted scripting that is easy to update.
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14168767, 8 jierren lynWorked like a charm for my needs (ctrl+1 and ctrl+9)
- Wurdearring: 2 fan 5troch wildhearts1, 8 jierren lynI use ctrl+shift+u key combination for 'Copy URL' but copied text always has a new line feed before url text.
Do you know any solution or could you fix it? - Wurdearring: 2 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 14128409, 8 jierren lynAfter re-install backspace deactivate shortcut doesn't work.
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch The Beard Below My Chin, 8 jierren lynVery good add-on. The fact you can use The Konami code as a hotkey is frikken brilliant. Another gem, I wished I discovered sooner.
@ Davin it does has scroll up/down RTFM. - Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 12837810, 8 jierren lynVery good. Thanks!
Problem: Some form fields are not recognized as such.
So, if shortcuts are assigned to alpha-letters, or to cursor keys, the filed becomes unusable.
A stopgap measure would be to have a Button to enable/disable the extension.
An example: Try to comment on:
https://foreignpolicy.com/2018/08/15/trump-will-regret-changing-his-mind-about-qatar/
(unfortunately, you have to register first, free of course). - Wurdearring: 4 fan 5troch Davin, 8 jierren lynCould better if it adds "Page Up" "Page Down" actions to dropdown choices. "Scroll" and "Scroll more" is not enough. Thanks for a great extension so far. I love it!
- Wurdearring: 5 fan 5troch Firefox-brûker 12531918, 8 jierren lynHow about scroll down/scroll up/mouse click triggers?
