I copy and paste the news about problem ads. You can find down on any video, with extension active, click to bell to read: "In September, Twitch started to fight ad blockers, including my extension. The extension uses special tricks to block ads. In turn, Twitch blocks every trick it seen. After that, I need a few days to find a new trick. Plus, you need to wait until the new version of the extension will be published in the store. Google and Microsoft require up to 7 days, Mozilla 1 day. All this time, you see ads in the expansion player.

The number of tricks is limited and at the moment Twitch has blocked almost everything. Therefore, in the next version of the extension, I will add a more reliable, but less effective way to hide ads. During the ads, playback may pause for a few seconds and you will see the message “Skipping ads”.

Unfortunately, Twitch rarely shows ads in my region, so I cannot test the ad hiding feature myself. I need volunteers to test the beta versions of the extension. They should: be able to think logically, often see ads in the extension, install extensions not from the store (I will give instructions), describe the test results in detail.     Je mets trois étoiles car l'extension m'a bien servis mais en ce moment il y a pas mal de chaînes Twitch qui le détecte et dans ces cas là ça fait un écran violet qui me demande de cliquer sur un lien pour regarder en mode normal, donc ça ne sert plus à grand chose.
    Il faudrait peut-être revoir ça.

    No longer works with my followed streams as the extension doesn't support whatever encryption the video is using.

    Doesn't work with 80% of streams anymore. Just says they're encrypted.

    worked well for a long time. i'm not sure what happened now but i'm getting memory leaks which causes my whole pc to freeze. Lost my hardcore ironman status bc of this ://

    Getting more and more "This broadcast is encrypted" error messages. Since this apparently don't get addressed, this extension will loose its purpose at some point in the future.

    its the Enhanced Broadcasting that 'encodes' the streams, not specifically the 2K streaming. I have seen streamers without 2K but it stills makes the stream unvailable

    Thank you for making this extension, I have been using it for a long time and it's been great. If you could find the time to update it to support encrypted streams or streams with higher quality than 1080p that would be highly appreciated.

    konnte es jezt eine weile testen und muss sagen der adblocker funktioniert so gut wie kein anderer adblocker für twitch jetzt wäre ein moderneres design 2k unterstützung und vielleicht die möglichkeit sound booster zu nutzen weil manche streams doch recht leise sind

    It works well but the quality on resolution could be higher I use a 1440 Monitor it only goes up to 1080p and during ads it looks like it forces it to go 160p which is annoying but not the fault of this add-on if possible in the next update that can be dealt with this would be five stars :) considering this is a free method its worth it just hope that those two things can be enhanced.

    It's pretty good it's doing its job, but the player looks honestly VERY bad, and we can't see our followed/recommended streams at the side anymore. Only the chat. Which doesn't pleases me. But again, it's doing its work, hides ads and all.

    Do you have plans to integrate support for HEVC/H.265 streams into the addon? in the current version, it is impossible to watch streams that have HEVC/H.265

    on mac it's perfect for a twitch chat addon. the player is smooth with a range of customization options. however if a stream encrypted it turns purple screen and requires you to click that one spot, can you make us click anywhere on the purple to continue watching? спасибо!

    I REALLY love this plugin/extension! Amazing work!

    My biggest wishes is a feature/setting that lets you auto-confirm streams that aren't supported with this extension (streams that are encrypted). So that you dont have to manually click the button to be re-directed to the twitch page of the encrypted stream.

    My other wish would be that raids auto-directs you to the raided channel, rather than only directing the chat alone. Which would then function with the previous wish of allowing auto-directing without having to confirm. So having it function for encrypted and regular streams.

    The only thing that I have noticed is that there is a small desync between the stream and the chat - I see the stream a bit later than others, but it’s not too bad and probably not something the author can manage anyway.
    All in all, it’s a great extension, and I’m thankful to be able to watch the streams in peace!! :D

    Been using this for years, love the addon. Obviously how it hides the ads, but also many of the great quality of life stuff added.

    That's why I'm sad I can't give more than 3 stars. Since more and more streamers broadcast in 2K, making their streams encrypted, and Alternate Player does not support encrypted broadcasts.

    It's a great add-on to remove ads from streams. Twitch isn't making it easy though: channel points aren't working anymore for a few months and with the increase of the adoption of encrypted streamings the add-on isn't working as it should. Here hoping all these small things are fixed.

    The GOAT of Twitch adblocking, that this isn't more popular is crazy. The new "1440p" streams on Twitch are not supported yet, would be amazing if you could add those (even if it downgrades quality to 1080p, I would love to watch those streams).
