I love AVD but now I HATE FIRFUX - these stupid pricks have screwed around with AVD's ability to function so many time already and now they have really buggered things up. The ONLY reason I was using FF in the first place was to have access to AVD. AVD has always been great and now I am going back to an earlier version of FF just so I can keep using it. People who are bitching to Ant - maybe you should be blasting the FF developers instead - they are the pricks who screwed everything up. Oh and TOR browser works with the older version of AVD (not sure about 3.0) so if you want to dump FF, use TOR.

First of all, all I get is "NO VIDEO DETECTED" no matter where I go.

You used to have an extremely EASY to use, i.e. user friendly, program for downloading just about anything but now...I have NO idea if it is downloading, where it is downloading to IF it is downloading? WTF happened to the easy to use program? And WHERE is it downloading to? ALL I get is A LINK to go right back to the video on YouTube or any other site. WHAT IS GOING ON?No more downloading?

AND WHAT THE HELL IS A NATIVE APPLICATION???? This is just for a desk top. NOT some iphone, or smart phone or laptop.

Needed a replacement for the now hopeless Video Downloadhelper. Ant Video Downloader works great. Just what I was looking for.

Just perfect: this addon allows to download streaming videos after "native app" install, even if installing an app unrecognized by Windows is a little frightening ;-(

I just wanted to rate 5 because even though the vid size is not indicated, the resolution is, and it's all I need. I'll be patient through this little setback, i'm still thankful we can download vids from tabs at all!

For making the Mozilla 56 compatible version of ANT available as a legacy (and for turning off it's auto-update feature (nice touch)) Some of us will keep Mozilla 56/and Legacy Ant on our old laptops indefinitely (just because its so darn convenient to use)

Any time you make significant changes to ANT (particularly if it's not 100% functional) you may well want to keep the older one available at (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloader-player/versions/.) Infact, like Mozilla, you may just want to keep all major legacy versions on there- but with a big warning- letting folks know of their security risks.

You guys make a great product. And it's very very easy to habituate to it. (all my gym time I use with youtube vids downloaded thru you guys) The best (hands down imho)--- That's why any significant changes (esp if its not very functional when released will greatly disaffect some of your many fans.

This is the better video downloader for Firefox, no doubt about it, I really hope an update.

For those who thinks is suspicious the way this add on should be installed, you have nothing to worry about, I am using this for years, everything is clean. Great Add On!
