Although it doesn't work on all sites, I'm very satisfied with Video DownloadHelper. I frequently use the "record only audio" function, which allows me to transcribe the audio of interesting videos into text, and it's very convenient to be able to download a movie for a pleasant evening. I would appreciate a function to convert to a lower resolution when the content is only in full HD, but otherwise it's perfect, and I recommend it.

There are times when I get the SIZE of the video & times when I simply get the video DURATION.

Works as intended on a website which many other extensions couldn't download from.

1 video every 2 hours, yet when I try to download audio only, nothing comes up.

This addon is fantastic. I could download almost every video in the internet, even videos behind a paywall :)

Most of the time cannot download live streams at all, downloads audio only or stops downloading prematurely. Other than that - good and very useful add-on.

most days it works, but when it is broken a repair update takes long, like more then a month

I really like the new UI, but some options have been removed compared to the old skin. For example, there isn’t an option to change the default button next to the detected media. I mostly use “Copy URL”
