    This is a great idea for an extension, and some of the years-old reviews made me think it may have been unfairly maligned, but unfortunately it doesn't currently work/do anything.

    No additional buttons or options appear on or around the video, and the extension icon is grayed out/marked as being unable to do anything on youtube.com.

    It doesn't request any permissions from Firefox, not even, "access your data for youtube.com", and there's no way to manually give it those permissions in the options.

    In short, I think Firefox probably updated the way it handles permissions, and since this hasn't been updated in 2 years, it's lost compatibility.

    If the project ever gets picked up/becomes active again, though, I'd try it again.

    Hi ganguv,

    Could you elaborate on what you mean? The extension is only active when on a url containing "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=" so it should not do anything while on other sites.

    Additionally, I'm confused on what you mean by "does not show images". The extension just creates a new window with the video in it. Could you explain the problem you're having?

    Sorry you had a bad experience. The add on definitely exists. Make sure you're using an updated version of Firefox.
