Twisted Code (Phillip M.) によるレビュー (4年前)Although the extension could use some work, EXCELLENT service, and useful enough for protecting my privacy that I have enrolled in their premium $0.99/mo. plan.
Prior to this I was using mailinator whenever I wanted a single-use address, and while that's great if the account is a "throwaway", some accounts I actually intend to maintain. For non-throwaway accounts, there are several reasons mailinator is not a good choice, most notable of which: ANYONE can access a mailinator inbox.
After enrolling in Relay's premium plan, I have gradually started migrating my accounts to relay aliases, and so far I'm loving it. For example:
1. Each account having a different alias allows me to tell what account it pertains to just from the subject line.
2. In the event a company shares my email alias with another, I can trace that too!
3. By reducing the number of emails that go "directly" to my real email address, it becomes easier to filter out junk from accounts or interactions I've long since abandoned or never initiated the first place.
Now, as I said, the extension itself could use some work:
1. Sometimes, even if the option is checked to show the extension's icon on email fields, it will not show. When this happens, the only workaround is to visit Mozilla Relay's subsite at relay.Mozilla.org. I can't manage or grab my aliases via the toolbar button, for some reason
2. With some sites, like Nintendolife, the extension icon will show, but will only let you search for existing aliases, rather than offering to create a new alias for the registration. Perhaps this is another tool that should be available in the toolbar button?

- So many people have been reporting for a long while that the extension doesn't allow use of all 50 granted aliases but only 5. However, a robot auto-replies "Sorry, we'll look into it". Come on, fox-bot, the fix it shouldn't be that complicated. You can do better than that. I believe in you.

- Just signed up, probably works great but even before I've had a chance to use it, I'm already disappointed by the misleading advertising. From the welcome email: "As a Firefox user, you get 50 email masks for free." But from the management page: "4/5 masks available."

Only one tenth of the promised ones. I don't need 50 but definitely more than 5; I signed up to a lie.
DuckDuckGo lets you have as many as you need, given enough time. You can also reply through them at no cost.
By default Mozilla opts you in sending telemetry data to them and opts you out from filtering e-mail trackers which are the exact opposite settings of what one would do for privacy.
• 20260727 I wanted to try Mozilla Relay out, signed up, and all I get now is blank pages. The extension only links to the same blank pages. Useless. Clearing cache, other browser, restarting, all didn't help either.開発者の返信

投稿日時: 2ヶ月前Thanks for your feedback. We appreciate you sharing that you would like the Relay extension to be updated to accurately reflect the ability to create up to 50 masks. We’ve made sure to mark this as feedback for our product teams. Thank you again for your support and for helping us improve the product!- Sorry to rate 1 star, but I will increase to 5 if the add-on is updated to reflect that users are allowed to have up to 50 email aliases; not just 5. As for the relay service itself, I really like it and appreciate it. But the add-on is not up to date, and is not even usable for me, as a result of this shortcoming.
