HonestReviews によるレビュー (4年前)9-11-25: not as good as urban. because developers are too stupid to keep your account active requires constant reinstalls. THEN they block you and ask for your personal email address to undo the block: AVOID
Bans your IP by requiring you give them your personal email address-forces you to doxx yourself. Bye Bye crap VPN.
4-1-25: The dummies at Adguard are now requiring longtime users to doxx themselves by emailing them. Forget about your privacy with this outfit. Might as well give everyone your home IP. Even b4 this new doxx requirement it sucked. could never remember your id very few free servers that are often "offline". Guess what? there are NO FREE GOOD vpn extensions. I've tested and/or used most of them. Browsec knows what they are doing but it's just too slow.
1-17-25: one of the worst of the so-called "free"vpns. It's NOT free if you have to waste ur time trying to get it to work. Requres constant new account creations Lacking servers most of which are "offline". Slow or impossible to connect suspicious permissions required. More crap from

12/21/24 : can't remember user requiring new acct creation frequently. Slow or impossible to connect, many or all IPS "offline". Another junk "free" vpn-not free if it wastes your time.

- China began a crackdown on VPNs in April 2026, severely restricting Proton VPN and Privado VPN. Incredibly They rely too much on OpenVPN / WireGuard . This is easily identified and blocked by Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), AdGuard VPN was able to connect quickly under these circumstances. I suspect this is due to its unique encryption protocol, which is different from other VPNs. This is quite surprising, allowing you to maintain your connection even under strict internet censorship.

One of the worst options available. Their support is abysmal and it wasn't until I mentioned in the issues Github that I would be escalating my concerns to my state's Attorney General for fraud did they do their jobs and look at a ticket that was sitting there for 20 days. Look elsewhere.
