The best password manager I have used to date. I wish it worked much better on Firefox for Android though. The autofill detection is very lackluster there.

I feel like the UI is not the best, but it does do the job. Please add webauth support like the chrome browsers have so I can use my security key to log in!

There’s an issue with version 2026.7.0 on self‑hosted vaults, so I rolled back to version 2026.6.1 to fix it.

Self-hosting require updating the server version to 1.37.1; otherwise, they will not work.

For a few days, my vaultwarden wasn't loading. This was annoying. We updated our vaultwarden, did a full log-off and then it started working again. still annyoing.

I recently noticed that whenever I do video playback the corresponding tab will spike to 60% CPU usage (in a single CPU thread) and doing profiler in Firefox's process manager clearly shows that Bitwarden (requestIdleCallback handler) causes this.
Disable the extension and refresh video website solves the issue for me.

amazing extension. not 5 stars because of the autofill not working sometimes, other than that, it's amazing. Some good features are free logins across all devices, free payment plan, it doesn't blast you with upgrading. Highly recommend over other managers I've tried such as lastpass, nordpass, dashlane

Has been great, I am not sure what happened, but within the last week it seems to be slowing down when I attempt to review code in Gerrit windows.

Finally (after weeks), version 2026.5.0 fixed the bug that the failure of autofill function.
However, this bug should not have occurred. Perhaps the AI code and incomplete regression testing have affected some originally normal functions

This extension is fantastic. Super useful and well maintained. Exactly what I was looking for.

I like the idea, it would be nice to add the option to add a website while fetching for a match instead of having to open the add-on, edit and manually adding the website. Like the phone app. An auto-update and save function kinda thing.

I couldn't get biometric unlock to work on Windows 11. Otherwise it's a great extension.

Great product, but they (or FF) broke the dropdown password selector in a recent (last few days) update. Now it always says: "No items to show".

The keyboard shortcut does not work for some reason.

Overall it works great, but it is a little hampered because I do also use the firefox password manager. That's on me, but I store personal in bw and work in firefox.

One thing this DESPERATELY needs is a fast way to ignore sites. I mean, you are asking me to save a login, just add another button that says never on this site. Very easy, everything else has that.

Been using this for years. Biggest complaint is passkeys integration isn't very intuitive, and there is not an easy way to see which accounts are associated with a passkey. Passkeys is also paywalled. The security reports that come with premium seem to be only available logging into your vault from their website and not from apps or browser extensions. Overall, solid for passwords and premium is a very reasonable price.
