- Needs channel whitelist since this is a thing: "Note: Language detection is not 100% reliable for short phrases or single words, so some messages may still be translated." So it keeps translating english comments into english on channels I dont need this on.

A channel whitelist is outside the scope of Chatslator, as the extension focuses strictly on message translation rather than channel management.
The disclaimer you mentioned highlights a limitation with automatic language detection. When text is extremely short, Google's API can't always identify the language with 100% accuracy, leading to occasional unexpected translations.
