    "DeepL needs to access and process the texts you are reading and writing". That is ridicoulous. They want to have access to our account, to track and read what sites we are visiting. Nope and bye.

    Thank you for your feedback, we take it very seriously, but can reassure you that the DeepL Firefox extension does not read all content from websites you visit. DeepL only processes content that you actively mark and submit to us for translation or text improvement by clicking on the DeepL icon (default setting). Only if you have activated the ‘Full Page Translation’ feature, the websites you visit are automatically translated without any further action on your part. Of course, it is possible to exclude individual website from Full Page Translation in the settings if you like.

    Ohne das ganze Problem zu kennen, ist es möglich, dass Sie der Erweiterung keine Berechtigungen erteilt haben. Ohne diese Berechtigungen kann sie nicht funktionieren. Klicken Sie dazu auf das Symbol oben rechts und befolgen Sie die Schritte zum Erteilen oder Verweigern von Berechtigungen.
