We've released version 24.1, which resolves the issue where downloads were producing incorrect file types (including text documents) instead of videos — this was caused by a YouTube algorithm change. Please update to v24.1 and it should download proper video files again, even on Ubuntu. If the new version works for you, we'd greatly appreciate an updated review. Thanks for your patience!

This extension charges $30 a year for videos after 50 downloads, and they don't clearly disclose this on the front page. Too many errors to count. don't use this garbage, there are way better free alternatives.
