MisterSergeCrono によるレビュー (6年前)Addon keeps turning itself off in Private Browsing Mode, even when you enable it for private windows in Firefox... it also doesn't work, AT ALL; I checked to disable WebRTC, enabled SOCKS, then went to hide.me's very own WebRTC Leak Test... and it told me I wasn't protected!!! Needless to say, I uninstalled the addon, did more searching on DuckDuckGo (because Google honestly sucks) and found a work-around to disable WebRTC in about:config on Firefox... went back to hide.me's website, passed all three tests (IP, DNS, and the previously failed WebRTC) with flying colors! Now don't get me wrong, the paid hide.me VPN is phenomenal so far, and it's great to know I can switch to their free version in the event of financial difficulties... but in the future, if I'm finding myself in a situation where I need to bypass censorship on a website with a way that only a proxy add-on can give me, then I will use one that ACTUALLY WORKS... right now, that is not this extension...

- Doesn't work with Russian censorship at all. Says "Connected", but the blocked websites don't start working. I'd suggest the devs remove "access a censorship free Internet" sentence from their description, it's blatant false advertising. You oughta be thankful I'm not from the US and can't sue you for it.

- hide.me does not reliably hide your IP address. Despite its claims of privacy and security, tests showed IP leaks via WebRTC or unstable server connections.
The free version is basically useless:
Limited servers
Slow speeds
Tiny data cap
Not suitable for users who care about real privacy, anonymity, or performance. There are much better alternatives, even free ones.
