I'm going to go out on a limb and assume this extension must have pre-dated the firefox group feature, because it's essentially an extension that does something firefox already has built in.
You simply select one or more tabs, right click, "add to group", have several groups if you so please, then when you want to leave the group/s of tabs to return to later, just right click and select "save and close group", and voilà. You can find you saved groups in the tab drop-down, NOT the bookmarks drop-down. Don't know if its universally displayed as such across devices but on my linux desktop it is the drop-down at the top right, 4th button from the right edge. Looky like-an upside-down ^ - i honestly dont know where that symbol is on the keyboard lmao.
In my opinion, when features are added that defeats the purpose of an extension, or a large chunk of an entire category of extensions, the developers should remove their extensions to help clean up the extensions hub, reduce confusion amongst the easily-confused, and realise they ought to stop beating a dead horse, el chapo.
But thats just my two cents, and after all, what do i know, aside from everything?

Please could you add support for Firefox Containers? - 5 段階中 1 の評価michaelluu によるレビュー (1ヶ月前)Totally Suck, Updated and All Tabs Gone, No way to get them back.
- I've been using OneTab daily for a long time without a problem, however since the last couple of updates I've experienced a complete wipeout of all my saved tabs twice. It seems that every time that the extension is updated, all saved tabs get wiped.
Many other users are reporting the exact same issue, however the response from the development team so far has been denial, blaming users, firefox, privacy software, etc.
Clearly something is broken, be cautious when using this extension and make sure to backup your tabs regularly (specially before applying updates). 開発者の返信
投稿日時: 2ヶ月前Hi, we've checked the Firefox source code, and Firefox will not evict any OneTab data due to low disk space.
The problem is probably that you are running some kind of privacy cleaner or system cleaner software which is trying to evict Firefox data, and is wiping extension data (including OneTab) at the same time. 'BleachBit' and 'Advanced SystemCare' are known to do this.- 5 段階中 1 の評価Firefox ユーザー 19045605 によるレビュー (2ヶ月前)Firefox Donot even try! Once it is activated there is noway to get back to your original tab layout unless you have backed up Firefox! I was able to get it back because I also using Simple Tag Groups and was able to restore over 1600 tabs using the Simple Tab Groups backup/restore.

投稿日時: 2ヶ月前Hi, you can do what you're describing.
By default, if you use Firefox tab groups, then each tab group will be stored separately, and can be restored separately.
If you want to store a whole window full of tab groups, and have the entire window restore at once with all of the tab groups inside, then you can do this by going to OneTab Options and choosing the "Send the current window to OneTab, including all tabs and tab groups" option. - 5 段階中 5 の評価Firefox ユーザー 18549406 によるレビュー (2ヶ月前)

投稿日時: 2ヶ月前I'm sorry this happened. The problem isn't Firefox, it's software such as privacy cleaners, or disk corruptions, that can corrupt Firefox's data stores.
The solution is to either ensure that your regular backup software (that keeps your files safe) also backs up your Firefox profile folder, or to use our upcoming encrypted cloud sync and backup feature.- NB! DO NOT USE THIS GARBAGE OF an addon. Yesterday received some update and today months of work is gone forever - no DB backup no nothing! It is not coded well at all!
I DID not refreshed my Firefox, neither did some kind of cleaning of the browser or Windows whatsoever.
What a f%#king shame !!!
I do not see any reason why is recommended app by Firefox, when I read that clearly I'm not the only one affected.
And please developers, don't say it is Firefox fault. It is not the only add-on we use. You can read firefox code, and fix your own!開発者の返信
投稿日時: 2ヶ月前Hi, I'm sorry you lost your tabs.
What happened was not a bug in OneTab. Firefox profiles can become corrupted, and then there is nothing we can do on our end.

投稿日時: 3ヶ月前Hi, I'm sorry this happened. It's definitely not a bug in our code, though. Something is wiping Firefox's internal storage - it's pretty much impossible for us to accidentally write code that would suddenly just wipe the entire contents of the storage and then delete the entire OneTab database after that.
Some "privacy cleaner" software will wipe Firefox data, or it could have been a crash causing a disk write error that corrupted the storage areas. Firefox's "Refresh" feature also wipes clean the extension storage. Being low on disk space when the browser is trying to write to its databases can also cause corruption.
