In Chrome, I can have the download panel on web players disabled by default and only enable when I toggle or set a specific site to show by default. Why can't we have the same option on Firefox? Or at least, if I toggle on a site manually, remember my preference so I don't have to do it EVERY TIME I go to the same site.

High CPU usage on YouTube when using the latest extension version 6.43.1 with DeArrow. Had no problem when using the extension version 6.42.60

WHEN will this crap ever work properly on shorts? Like, works maybe 10% of the time on shorts IF i'm being generous.

In fact, it recognize the short bellow the one i'm currently watching way more often than the one i'm currently watching. Infuriating. Even THEN it's not always. I'm really being generous when i say it works 10% of the time on shorts

It absolutely breaks on Firefox forks including Nightly and Developer. Have to manually point to firefox executable from idm taskbar>options every time and even then it isn't reliable. I raised support many months ago and things have only gone worse

Protip: disable autoupdates for this extension. Or download an older version that works with your desktop version.

IDM 642Build63 stopped working on Thursday, May 14, 2026, on Firefox 150.03, as well as on Nightly and Brave. I haven't tested it on other browsers.

I really enjoy using IDM, but I'd like this plugin to have an additional feature: to allow IDM to be set to off by default, so I can only turn it on when I really need to download.
