While in the past you could choose ANY folder in your PC as download folder for this app, since a while it forces you to choose either the default Windows Downloads folder or a subfolder of it.
And contrarily to the past, it also COMPLETELY bypasses the Firefox setting to "ask every time", i.e. even if you have this option active in the Firefox settings, while you use this app there is no popup to choose where to download.
There's the option "Download as" but that too, the lazy dev didn't even noticed that there's a but that lets the download start immediately without any popup. You have to stop the download and there it opens the popup.
MENTAL!!!
For me 10001% USELESS as of now, and I VERY DEEPLY resent the dev for this. SHAME ON YOU!!!

- 5 段階中 4 の評価Firefox ユーザー 19595273 によるレビュー (1日前)really couldnt live without this addon. its real value is in sniffing out the url of the video. i use it to copy the url of the file, then send it to jdownloader, which is a faster more dependable download manager, but on some sites, vdh is able to download files when sending the url to jdownloader causes a failure. the renaming feature is amazing but only works when using vdh to do the downloading. although the description says it can download youtube videos, i have not been able to get that to work. i love vdh.
