Here's how you get it work: If the Zhongwen icon is not shown in the toolbar, you need to click on the Extensions icon in the upper right hand corner (it looks like a puzzle piece), then next to the Zhongwen extension click on the settings icon (looks like a cogwheel) and select "Pin to Toolbar". That's it, now you should be able to see the Zhongwen icon in the toolbar and you can use it to turn the extension on and off.
