This app specifically says it is intended to help the transgender community. Things have recently changed where it now has chosen to exclude members of that community.
Trying to hold trans-femininity as the sole beacon to guide this project has hurt and left behind most of those it claimed to help, many of those who helped this tool grow.
If this app chooses to hurt all other genders for simply not worshiping the feminine, is it any better than a TERF tool? A group of transphobes who already villainize anything remotely masculine or non-feminine?
The transgender community, and more importantly the LGBTQ+ community as a whole, needs to accept that we may not all have the same personal definitions of gender, and that's okay. There will never be blanket terms to cover every nuance, we cannot limit ourselves, and we should never try to force others to exist within strict boxes or binaries.
Someone venting about their lived experience is not an attack on yours. It is petty and childish when you refuse to listen to your community and outright shun some groups like intersex individuals.
This add-on used to be one that brought us together, to help see others as part of a found family. If the future of it is now simply to be a club and to harm the reputation of others simply to only give oneself more attention, consider starting a vitriolic rant youtube channel instead.
Currently this app has been corrupted by transphobia. Yes, transgender people can be transphobic, especially when you choose to align your identity with exclusionary rhetoric and spout the same bioessentialism as TERFs and other bigots.
You really disappoint many of us, and should be doing better.

- i don't care about tmras and transmisogynists whinging about how they're being bullied for spreading vile bs abt trans women, but i have seen actual 4tranners get marked green, including a dedicated 4tran subreddit. come the fuck on. you wouldn't call an edtwt user a feminist for saying moid.
it's just become a discourse tool now, which is functionally useless for measuring what is and is not actually unsafe for trans people (esp women) to be around. - 5점 만점에 5점Firefox 사용자 20047351 님, 8일 전
- Like. SO many trans men, non-binary and intersex people are marked as transphobic on this thing for speaking about the oppression they face. So fucked. Also like. a lot of black trans people are marked red for no reason??? Racist and transphobic, avoid at all costs. If you need to check if a page or blog is transphobic, just do the work yourself.
- pretty good. ive been using it for a while and has been largely accurate. im not sure the specifics of the process. but as of late it seems false negatives within the system have been circulating just for people combating transmisogyny. one thing that would help is when somebody is marked red or green (though it would benefit red marks the most) it gives a reason why they were marked such and a link/screenshot to where the person expressed a belief which way. don't use it without checking, especially for red marks, but it can help bring your attention to whether or not a person might be transphobic
- alright I gotta swallow my pride and say that when I made my last review, I was duped. I was poorly informed by the reviews, and after using the plugin and better understanding the actual conversation around the relevant issues, I'm changing my 1 star review to a 5 star review.
Effective plugin, and it feels nice to see green names going around. Recommended if you think it would help you. - 5점 만점에 2점Firefox 사용자 20037153 님, 14일 전I looked at the guidelines when wondering why so many pro-transgender pages are marked red and it sounds like using assigned-gender-at-birth language is being encouraged as "do not mark trans-friendly" due to transmisogyny. Julia Serrano's article on what transmisogyny is does use that language. So am I supposed to mark Julia Serrano as anti-trans??? I'm supposed to flag the woman who coined the term "transmisogyny" as being violently transphobic? That sounds rather counterproductive! Can the developer explain why this is supposed to make sense? Are people flagging others just to see them turn red? Did anti-trans people raid the app, and the mods just can't keep up?

- 5점 만점에 1점explodingcows54 님, 19일 전very commonly see transmeds (people who police transness) marked as green and trans men marked as red, with no evidence theyre anti trans or trans friendly. lacks unbiased review.

- It works fine. Of course anything with a community-sourced database is gonna have its misfires, but overall it serves its purpose well enough.
I'd like the ability to mark stuff on mobile firefox too, though. Or at least to be able to manually import an override list, or something along those lines. - 5점 만점에 5점Firefox 사용자 16876736 님, 24일 전if you are a trans woman you NEED this extention. if you are a trans man who knows transandrophobia is not an actual axis of oppression and wants to be more of a transfeminist you NEED this extention.
