This is okay for determining whether someone has weighed in on trans people in general
However, it does not do well with saying whether it's positively or negatively
I personally haven't seen many mislabels, but with how it's set up, I have absolutely no doubt that it's happening. You can just report things as good or bad with absolutely no explanation or proof even as an optional thing
This could be very helpful, but it should function with different methods from current
Here is how I would do it if I knew how: To mark something, you HAVE to provide an explanation at minimum. Then, people can view those explanations, and report the ones that are outright false, or just placeholder text to be removed. So, instead of just seeing the colour with no context, you can see WHY people marked them that colour
Unless they do that, this is not an extension I can actually recommend, just due to the very poor structuring of it that leaves it easy to exploit
We are all in this together, we all suffer together, and we need to work together. This extension currently works against that, unless you specifically just view it how I said to, as a way to identify if someone has said ANYTHING about trans people. But due to the colours, it's very difficult to actually be unbiased about it. If there was no green or red, and all just one colour, it'd be okay, but the green and red subconsciously make you biased when judging them

- i don't care about tmras and transmisogynists whinging about how they're being bullied for spreading vile bs abt trans women, but i have seen actual 4tranners get marked green, including a dedicated 4tran subreddit. come the fuck on. you wouldn't call an edtwt user a feminist for saying moid.
it's just become a discourse tool now, which is functionally useless for measuring what is and is not actually unsafe for trans people (esp women) to be around. - 5점 만점에 5점Firefox 사용자 20047351 님, 5일 전
- Like. SO many trans men, non-binary and intersex people are marked as transphobic on this thing for speaking about the oppression they face. So fucked. Also like. a lot of black trans people are marked red for no reason??? Racist and transphobic, avoid at all costs. If you need to check if a page or blog is transphobic, just do the work yourself.
- pretty good. ive been using it for a while and has been largely accurate. im not sure the specifics of the process. but as of late it seems false negatives within the system have been circulating just for people combating transmisogyny. one thing that would help is when somebody is marked red or green (though it would benefit red marks the most) it gives a reason why they were marked such and a link/screenshot to where the person expressed a belief which way. don't use it without checking, especially for red marks, but it can help bring your attention to whether or not a person might be transphobic
- alright I gotta swallow my pride and say that when I made my last review, I was duped. I was poorly informed by the reviews, and after using the plugin and better understanding the actual conversation around the relevant issues, I'm changing my 1 star review to a 5 star review.
Effective plugin, and it feels nice to see green names going around. Recommended if you think it would help you. - 5점 만점에 2점Firefox 사용자 20037153 님, 10일 전I looked at the guidelines when wondering why so many pro-transgender pages are marked red and it sounds like using assigned-gender-at-birth language is being encouraged as "do not mark trans-friendly" due to transmisogyny. Julia Serrano's article on what transmisogyny is does use that language. So am I supposed to mark Julia Serrano as anti-trans??? I'm supposed to flag the woman who coined the term "transmisogyny" as being violently transphobic? That sounds rather counterproductive! Can the developer explain why this is supposed to make sense? Are people flagging others just to see them turn red? Did anti-trans people raid the app, and the mods just can't keep up?

- It works fine. Of course anything with a community-sourced database is gonna have its misfires, but overall it serves its purpose well enough.
I'd like the ability to mark stuff on mobile firefox too, though. Or at least to be able to manually import an override list, or something along those lines. - 5점 만점에 5점Firefox 사용자 16876736 님, 21일 전if you are a trans woman you NEED this extention. if you are a trans man who knows transandrophobia is not an actual axis of oppression and wants to be more of a transfeminist you NEED this extention.
- 5점 만점에 1점Firefox 사용자 19938679 님, 21일 전Horribly transphobic extension! It marks trans men/mascs, nonbinary people, and intersex people as "transphobic" for simply talking about the oppression they face, meanwhile trans women/fems are allowed to be as racist, ableist, and laterally queerphobic as they want, and they're somehow fine. The creators of this extension should be ashamed of themselves. At best, there's no oversight or verification of any kind to prevent this, and at worst, this is something they actively encourage. Absolutely disgusting.
