This version is just a major inconvenience and the new layout feels smaller, also when I open the 7tv menu it does not let me instantly type to search emotes. I have to click the search bar, not sure why they changed that or how its better, when I open the 7tv menu of course I am going to be searching for emotes. Buttons moved for no reason, also random emotes are blurred and the setting to change this are not easily found. Why can I not find the setting when I type "blur" in the settings search bar? That would make so much more sense, instead I have to some how know its because 7tv all the sudden decided to blur unlisted emotes and "unlisted" is the search term I have to use to find that setting. Just went back to the old version

I preffered some of the things the old, "Twitch broke it we swear" version, but there are some things that this does offer which stops me from having to run both 7TV and FFZ.

Now please fix the fact that some things, like the audio compressor, don't show up on the channel moderator view. Also a popout window so I can still interact with a page while adjusting settings would be nice.

A bit of a rough switch, initiated by the weird issue with the old extension. Communication to the new one could've been better and confused me for a bit.

But fine otherwise and the new extension has some more new gimmicks.

look fellas, it just so happens twitch randomly made the old one unusable, why would you think WE did that to force you to switch to the new one???? that would be insaneeeeeee winkwink

new version is requesting all browsing activity, no context has been added by the devs at the time of writing

Some people are just insufferable...

Looks nice, feels nice but some features are missing like:
* the button to add a user to highlight list from the card when you click their username.
* Highlighting by badge like verified / mod
* Changing font
* Hovering over replies in doesnt show the message being replied to

Also there are some issues with light mode such as some icons and text staying white

Displays other people's emotes in the chat, but the list of my emotes is not displayed! (By clicking the 7TV button at the top of the chat window)

Please fix that I can't use 7TV emojis through the drop-down menu in chat...

Why isnt this version open source like the previous one?

I didn't realise it was a twitch bug and not a 7tv bug that led to there being 2 7tv app versions. I think the new update is good.

IMO there should still be some temporary warning on the old plugin about this though, so users aren't confused as to why there's 2 plugins.

Twitch chat works fine now, but sadly highlighted replies won't if you have ffz extension enabled too, if you experience the same issue just turn off ffz (there's 7tv audio compressor if you need one)

The extension is great - way better than the old one. The UI is way cleaner, everything works and it feels more responsive. Dragging the new one down, because the old one got broken by Twitch and accusing the devs of fraudulent marketing tactics is literal nonsense and outrage for the purpose of outrage.

Just made an acc to counter those stupid a*ses that can't even read and notice that twitch broke the extension not the other way around... Sorry for yall that you have to deal with this idiocracy.
