Be careful. They consider a lot of ads acceptable by now. Things you probably would not agree with. For example, all ads that amazon shows in front of search results are considered "acceptable", so you have to scroll a full page before you see real results.
I did love them for the idea of acceptable ads, but they have been stretching this definition too far. Sad to not be able to have an acceptable compromise anymore.

There seems to be some misunderstandings about our Acceptable Ads Initiative. Users are still in control, and can disable “allow acceptable ads” in options. If you still experience ads with this option disabled, please be advised that these are more than likely NOT Acceptable Ads. In these cases please send us the URL along with a screenshot of your subscribed filter lists to support@adblockplus.org. We are usually able to get these reported to the filter list team and resolved. You can find more details regarding Acceptable Ads here https://acceptableads.com.

1. only tried this add on about a year ago and I took it off, so why is it asking me for money?
2. Why is it popping up on edge...I never put an add on there.
3. I never used edge so how can it stop 5,245,388 ads for me when I never used the browser for more than 10 minutes at most, ever.

2달 전에 게시됨For non-Premium users, our payment page displays when we update the extension to keep you informed on changes we've made and as a reminder to consider upgrading to Premium. There is no obligation to upgrade and you can dismiss the page by clicking the "x" on the browser tab. You can also dismiss this page by going to the Advanced tab on your ABP settings and unchecking the box next to "Allow Adblock Plus to show occasional promotional messages." - 5점 만점에 5점MasterSuperman 님, 3달 전I LOVE this extension but for the lase week it has slowed my computer to a CRAWL. I know it is this extension because I turned off all extensions and added them back one at a time. I hope you can pinpoint the problem and fix it quick because I would hate to lose this ad blocker!
