IMPORTANT EDIT!!!! On YouTube a problem occurred. When I open a video, it turns OFF ABP. The instrument panel icon fades to grey and both sliders (This Website and This Webpage) turn to OFF position. Started July 30 2025.
I previously wrote a rather critical review of this addon. But after the recent "addons off" Mozilla disaster ("thank you" for supporting older versions users, Mozilla!), I realized that I was just an ungrateful prat! I didn't even realize just how much work this addon does in the background. I lived without it for three days, and I now fully appreciate it. It removes nagging ads from youtube, it remove audio ads from VK, it removes EVERYTHING!!! It does an AMAZING job. Thank you very much to everyone who worked on this addon!!! You are truly appreciated!!!!

Other ad blockers have enough common sense not to CAUSE THEIR OWN POP-UP ADS. When good ad blockers like uBlock Origin update, they do it quietly without bothering the user. The people at ABP thought you wouldn't mind annoying adverts if it was from them. Advertising to me a product I already have installed is a sure sign these people do not respect users time.

한 달 전에 게시됨We appreciate your feedback. We use a system called smart allowlisting: if you do not visit a website that you have allowlisted within 7 days, it gets automatically removed from your allowlisted websites. If you visit it in 7 days, it will get renewed for another 7 days.

Nor on Yahoo.com. at least not on my computer.
